Greetings Saturday Survivors

146 today. Sounds like the moon and stars must be sort of off kilter right not. Liz sorry your birthday plans went sideways but glad you went through with the fun and forgive your DH for what he can't help. Sounds like you still had a good one and love that shirt.

Shel, you are hopefully on the road now and looking for adventure. Sounds like DH will be good with a little quiet time and DD with something else to contemplate. Its sunny and dry here today so hoping it holds.

Paula sorry you had a crisis as well. I so hope it resolves and there is some peace for you. Wishing everyone huge servings of peace. Some people seek adventure and conflict. I am kind of beyond that. Loved your anniversary pictures on FB.

Diane O glad you are rid of that monitor. I hope they find some useful data from it.

DH is out walking the dogs wearing his "Floyd R. Turbo" hat. I told him he should wear it to nephew's wedding. His fussy sister would have had an absolute cow! The thought is funny. He bought new clothes for the event. New pants have to be hemmed up. My hands are kind of gimpy for sewing so I know a lady who has a sewing business called "Sew What". Love that name.

Hey Ann, I did a Walmart trip yesterday. Around here, Walmart is a four letter word and all the eco groovy people refuse to go there. But there are these one kind of stretchy cheap pants I wear in the studio and get clay all over them and I needed more. Also looked for sweatshirts but found none. Got some inexpensive tops for this trip so I don't look like a homeless person to the fussy SIL. Hope you are finding some equilibrium. Its not a crime to skip a class once in awhile (so I told myself in college).

Yep, love that baby roll Dave. BB thinking of you and Becca. Have a great day all.

P.s. We have some new members. Please jump in and tell us about yourselves.

Yeah, David -- that baby roll rocks!

Just imagine ... once upon a time each of us had to learn on our own how to do that. That maneuver must've seemed like rocket science to our little baby brains when we figured it out and found the courage to relax and roll completely over on our backs.

Liz, love the t-shirt! I'm sorry your birthday wasn't what you deserved or hoped it would be. Damn Alzheimer's. Good for you, though, for following through on your dinner plans. I hope the coconut pie was amazing.

It's a gorgeous day here after a little rain last night. I got a mani/pedi and had lunch with a friend and her daughter. With all this pampering, I feel like I need a nap. Haha! Later I'm going to keep tackling the closet. I pulled out about 8 pairs of shoes for donation so far. Only 75 or so more to go through... I don't even like shoes nor do they like my feet, how do I have so many??

Happy travels to the travelers and happy rocking to the baby tenders!

Liz, my heart sank reading about your solo b'day dinner. I imagined the complexity of emotions the scenario might bring on. I hope you found some strength having b'day dinner as planned, but without DH. You are a strong woman!
