144.4 - Say Whaaaaaaat? Not sure why the jump. Yesterday's calories just slightly higher at 1449 with C: 191, F: 58 P: 97. Stayed up until midnight last night talking with DS#1 (the drama continues) and got pretty hungry so had an extra protein bar - I really wanted the Girl Scout cookies so I considered it a win!
Day off today. Making beef stroganoff for dinner which is a bit time intensive but will be good. Getting a dusting of snow here. Spring - where are you????
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Ah, sweet sleep returned to me last night.
Off to the endocrinologist today for a thyroid check. My numbers look fine, so should be a quick visit. My last visit to her was in October and I weighed 17 pounds more than I do now. Crazy! Then I have a bunch of little errands to run. Tonight my friends and I are going to see The Leisure Seeker with Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland.
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Kick me next time I say a doctor's visit is going to be quick because I'm fine. For about 5 years I've taken an anti-thyroid medication that can have a rare "severe and dangerous" side effect called agranulocytosis (a kind of low white blood cell count). My white blood cells count has been declining, yet still just in the normal range, but one other number that is affected (neutrophils) has dropped a lot and is now below normal. She's concerned I might be developing the side effect. So another blood check next week and if it's still low or lower, I won't be able to take the meds anymore. The alternative is to have my thyroid radiated (you take a pill of radioactive iodine that kills your thyroid off, stay away from other humans/pets for about a week, then you take thyroid replacement hormones for life).
I guess I'll know more next week. Selfishly I'm wondering how this might affect plastic surgery? Nothing is easy is it?...
Erk, Cecily! I never heard of this and know nothing about this ailment. But I'm with Paula -- hope this reverses and chills itself out.
