We went to an interesting event last night: An art show combined with a poetry reading. It was part of the National Art Exhibition at the Visual Arts Center in ***** Gorda. A friend of ours (who is the new artist of the year in Charlotte County) was one of the poem writer/readers. Individuals wrote poems inspired by specific works in the National Exhibit. It was really a wonderful event and seeing the works on the exhibit was amazing as well.
Shel, that photo is absolutely mind-bending. I believe it is your MIL! You must frame it!

I'll be busy the next few days gathering up all the itsy bitsy stuff needed for the trip.

I'm inclined to believe it was "something" and was most disturbed by Devon's comment about something needing help. Because I didn't help. Instead, that hike felt freeing. Sparkling. I gave the sun the credit for the sparkle but who knows.

My interpretation was entirely different. The significance of the colors (so much purple), the clear formation of the shapes, the strength of the heart and your feelings of energy, calm, positivity make me confident that this is an evolved, learned, powerful positive guide. She was drawn to you because you were open to her. There is synergy in this type of encounter. You recognize and respect what the other has to offer and each of you move forward the better for having shared the moment.

WONS !! Snow backward... I'll create a win/win with it (shoveling, outdoor activity) but more is expected tomorrow (lake effect) and next week.... so I'm also sending thoughts of it back to the winter fairies. I'm predicting just into Thursday the 15th for Nugget's arrival, if she chooses to arrive on her own. I'm thinking just under eight pounds, and I'll go with 20".
I have a pedicure and gel fill scheduled for this morning. My new primary got my records from my old cardiologist, and he has me set up with my new cardiologist tomorrow afternoon. That was pretty fast ! Both dogs go to the groomer tomorrow morning for baths and nails. The temperature will be in the twenties all week, and I just can't get them dry enough here at home... my hair dryer just doesn't cut it. We're waiting for repair on our pellet stove. A fuse blew during recent power fluctuations and it's looking like the igniter may have been damaged too.

We have a baby! Nugget Rebecca Rose was born at 12:31 on 3/11, weighing 6lbs 15 oz and 20in. She is every ounce of yummy perfection. I can't get over staring at her and smelling her. And soft yummy skin! I'm trying to post this from my phone so I hope to get some photos but msg have to update from computer when we get home.
