Perfect adjectives for that odd sensation! And looking up to see a full moon (especially since it is usually too cloudy to see the moon) made is all the more intense.

143.6, still going down! I don't seem to have the anorexic effects so much from the increase in Cymbalta (at least not yet) but have been comfortable at a little over 1,000 calories. I do have to still be very mindful about what and when I am eating though! Got a short walk in yesterday at lunch. Calories: 1036, C: 113, F:43, P: 77.

Day off today. Have a plumber coming over this morning to fix a drain on the tub. Otherwise, I think some house cleaning, laundry and hopefully exercise will be in order. It is weird because when I have exercised hard lately, my body has been sooooo sore and that has been a deterrent. When I'm regularly exercising and have an extra hard workout and feel sore, I feel good - like I know I did something! Not sure if it is a different kind of sore now or if my perspective has just changed a bit right now! Maybe I am just seeking comfort instead of soreness now!

Here's to happy thoughts of Spring and warmer weather!

Thank you for that beautiful photograph, Paula.

Everything you're doing for yourself right now seems to be doing you so much good. Very happy for you.

Greetings Purple People (its that Thursday thing)

146 today. Weight loss is so fleeting. I ate a lot of the sweet pork jerky yesterday. Its maybe not such as good thing. Revs up the sweet tooth.

Devon I am so sorry for your loss of Bramble and sad news on Kiera. Dogs add so much to our lives and are indeed family. Pet and spoil Kiera for us all.

That one room school house looks like a fun trip. My grandmother, born in 1888, taught in a one room school out on the prairie.

Well Ann, glad the book club is fun and I like hearing the selections. Well I think its ok to have a "slow" day once in awhile. (though I admit I have too many). Most people need to either slow down or speed up. I know which I need. Its sunny but windy and rain is predicted later. My studio has good windows so it will be toasty warm in there.

Gallery was slow yesterday so I spend the time exploring aspects of our accounting system, coming up with procedures for sharing computer problems (of which we have lots), training a new member on the bank deposit procedures so someone besides me knows them. Between that, dusting, crosswords and chatting with visitors the time went fast.

Blooming lemon trees Cecily. Sounds wonderful. Citrus does not do well up here but blueberries do!

Devon thanks for the reminder on the dog influenza. Gotta get the mutt-lets in.

And I love seeing Paul with the pups. That Justice is a cutie.

More later (maybe). Diane S

Spending time in a toasty studio, while the wind and rain swirl around you sounds cozy. Enjoy!

Afternoon greetings all!

Devon, I'm so sorry about your fur babies. They are with us for so little time, I consider every day with them a blessing.

Shel, my condolences on your MIL. We should all be so lucky to have a good passing when it's our time...

Liz, how nice to have a doggy in the house for a while! I hope he recovers well.

I see Paula's flowers and raise her backyard Meyer Lemon blossoms ready to pop! They're purple on the outside, white inside and smell heavenly.

No blueberries, here Diane. I have to go to Michigan to see those grow.

This morning I did a fitness hike in Laguna canyon. I would have taken pictures of the rolling hills and ocean views but was too busy huffing and puffing up hills. 6.8 miles, 1265 feet of elevation gain. Lots of fun and sun and very cool temps. It's supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully more than the last time.

I re-read the lower body lift surgery special my surgeon is having and it needed to be claimed by end of the day yesterday - I misread it before and thought it was March 31st. So I called to find out what "claiming" entailed. It's a 20% deposit. I bit the bullet and claimed away. Yikes, it's becoming real.

Tonight I'm headed to dinner and then the Laguna Playhouse (lots of Laguna today!) to see a production of The Graduate with Melanie Griffith. I shall report back tomorrow.

Good thoughts to all...
