Greetings Peeps
145 today. So much interesting talk here today. I am late posting as I had morning gallery duty. Then hand therapist and then studio visit. Where does the time go?
Diane O, I think you look great. Don't let anybody tell you that you are too thin. I kind of got too thin but "adjusted" but nobody said it to my face. They did behind my back saying I looked "frail". A good retort is to ask a question like "Why do you say that?" or something.
Lots of good dog talk. Even purebred dogs can be bred irresponsibly and thats why there are hereditary health problems. My old dog Liza lived to be 16 and had almost no health issues. Her parents were both cleared of a host of issues before being bred. So was she. Knock on wood but my current dogs have few vet bills and Chip is 11. So yeah, there are lots of wonderful shelter dogs that deserve homes but they are often the result of unintentional or irresponsible breeding. So right on Devon. The Jackdale pictures are so telling.
BB, can't wait to hear that Nugget has arrived. Glad you got the comfy rocker. We all await the glad tidings.
Shel, I was bored at the gallery and took one of our local tourist guides and began marking it up with my opinions of which places are best. I will send it.
Cecily hope your walk goes well and your foot heals. I was always the slowpoke and I used to always walk with a friend who had polio as a child and moved more slowly. You notice things when you slow down.
Devon, good healthy eating plan. Dr. Jossart used to say if a box or can had more than 4 ingredients, don't eat it.
Hey Paula, I so don't envy your ice storm. Good that someone recognized that schools should be closed and people stay home. We had hail yesterday and overnight and it accumulated on our deck and roofs and looked like snow. But it was nothing compared to midwestern winters. Stay safe.
Well I have always been very independent. Didn't marry until age 43 but lived on my own since first year law school. Bought houses as a single person. It all worked but yeah, just try to get a piece of furniture moved or deal with a furnace salesman single handed. I am grateful for DH even though he is more the dependent type. (auto correct typed "defendant" LOL).
Well thats about it. Time to recline on the sectional with dogs before cooking. DianeS
