Greetings Saturday Celebrators
144.5 today. Its sunny and calm so I need to get out and about. DH has been having some back pain. He gets overly fixated on things and had overdone his walking routine with dogs for several miles and then treadmill. I would like to get out our old P-90 dvd and do that and maybe this time he will do it too. its good stretching. We had leftover beef from DH lunch out and it was enough for both of us. Plus asparagus which is now coming in at reasonable prices so I will eat as much of it as I can get!
Liz the dog walking sounds fun. Yeah I bet little Pebbles is ailing from the spay. She will get over it. Fishing off a pier! I have fond childhood memories of that.
Diane O, sorry about the euthanized dog but its for the best. Bad enough that adults were bitten but what if it had been a child? That dog was suffering. Hope the bite victims will recover. And hope you have a good celebration dinner out! And our dogs must have talked to yours because the kitchen floor is decorated in paw prints.
Well I did some serious de-junking yesterday. Barely scratched the surface but I have three grocery bags of paper to take to the recycle. There are stacks and stacks to go but at least I can see some table tops. Now if I can just get DH to do the same....
Not much planned except more tossing, dog walking and trip to the health food store to get more of my favorite coffee. But first, more of the same. Diane S

Had a nice walk/hike with my friend yesterday. Another gorgeous day that many of us wish would be spoiled by some rain we so desperately need! It's a gravel trail, but mostly flat so it's more of a walk than a hike. But there are some beautiful views...
That's Catalina Island on the horizon. "26 miles across the sea. Santa Catalina is a-waitin' for me..."
Today I think I should join Diane is some tidying of my own. The clutter is taking over. Other than that, a no-plans day. My favorite kind!

Yes! Buffalo were taken over in the 20s for a movie that was filming there. They ran out of money and couldn't afford to bring them back to the mainland. So they and their offspring have been living there wild ever since. It's a pretty island. Not much to do there but be in nature as 80% of it is conservation land. There are no cars, just golf carts and bikes.
