Thanks! Interesting - my son has problems with red - he can see it when it is a primary red, but if off that he can't distingui**** from browns.

Weight: 190. Which is weird because it was also 190 on Dr.'s scale (which is usually 2lbs. higher/clothed weight)
So I'm totally crazy when it comes to the numbers. My Dr. mentioned what a good pregnancy I've had and specifically said "you've gained just the right amount of weight." Of course I chirped "well at the max of the range" (which actually isn't true if the Dr. scale was correct today; then it'd be 33 instead of 35) but she said "no you've gained 30 so you're shooting the gap." I went back over my records and if you take my weight from my first prenatal visit, I'm up 30lbs. Of course by that point I was 7 weeks pregnant, so I have been calculating it based on my weight before becoming pregnant. I think I put on a lot of those first few pounds quickly because I'd gone from dieting to being pregnant. Aaaaanyway this really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but there's a side of me that wants to pat myself on back and afford myself a few more treats in the last couple weeks, lol. But there's also a side of me that says "no, you're up from 155 no matter how you slice it, to get back down to 155 is going to take a bit more effort."
Regardless, it's safe to say I'm not going to be one of those women who put on 50, 60, or 70lbs. And furthermore, I'm not 277 climbing into the 300s. How different an experience all of this is without weight. Maybe not better, but less distracted (okay okay, I'm still distracted by weight battles and always will be). I can just be normal-insecure about pregnancy body and weight gain. I remember feeling the same way about my wedding. I'm sure both pregnancy and wedding would've been beautiful experiences, even overweight. But it's nice to have one less distraction from it, if that makes sense.
I still need a couple of addresses ;)

Yesterday was a slow day for me, but it was so nice. Basically I just walked the dog, got a manicure/pedicure, and watched 5 back episodes of Victoria on PBS. The height of laziness!
The day before after pilates, my friend and I went to the beach to walk around and see how my foot did. We went about 4 miles and it was only a little sore by the end. Healing. It was so gorgeous and the ocean was still like a pond with a super low tide so we could wander around the tide pools looking for animals. And we saw a whale spout!
I'm heading out for another walk/hike with a friend today. Hoping I can manage the whole 5.5 miles.
Foodwise, I really need to go to the grocery store. It's Mother Hubbard's cupboard here. And I need not to buy any crap.
Beautiful pics!

Greetings Friday Friends
hey, 144 today. Thats good. I guess the colon blow out finally registered. We went out to dinner last night. Of the five of us, four had been sleeved by Dr. Cirangle. So DH and I just ordered appetizers and the other two sleevers got steaks but large go boxes. The earliest sliver was 2009 and the most recent probably 4 years ago. All of us had some regain - me and the newer one probably the least. The earliest sleever never got to an ideal weight and is still pretty heavy but is happy with her loss and it has made a huge difference in her life. We had a great time at this restaurant that has the most fabulous sunset view. I wish I had taken a picture. I had a spinach salad with pancetta and DH had a crab cake.
More drama at the galleries. A beloved member is leaving and no one yet knows why. She does a lot of bank stuff so I will probably take that over since I do it for the other gallery.
Liz I love your color choices. Its so Florida. And you should frame that photo. It looks like national geographic. We have lots of egrets around here and they are often standing in puddles in the freeway median. Enjoy the doggie walks.
Hey Diane O, glad you are getting a weather break. Also glad you got your trip figured out.
Cecily, love your pictures. We have tide pools here too at low tide and I should get out there and look in them. I used to.
Paula glad you got to the play and sorry Ben had to bail. But good that he knows his limits.
Well Devon, guess I have to look at facebook to see your birthday celebration. FB is still sort of a new fangled invention to me. I feel old.
I had some terrible dreams about trying to escape horrible people and woke up with awful pain in my hips and legs. I must be "running" in my sleep. I had to take advil which helped a great deal. Sore legs = not moving around = more sore legs. Not good.
Well have a good day all. Its back to the routine of cooking healthy dinners and keeping DH in Atkins compliance. He has lost 18 lbs and it shows. Fish tonight most likely.
Ann, thinking of you and the days ahead. Peace. Diane S
