Oh Devon, I so love the report of your conversation about the fork. DH and I do that all the time. Not being specific enough, not hearing some part, being distracted by other stuff. It ends up being a comedy routine. Glad I am not the only one.
Well the actor challenge is not about looks. Its about personality reflecting you.

Huzzah to all of that, Devon! I've personally never, ever acted even remotely like you described your performance last night. ;)
But mostly I'd like to say -- Jamie Dornan?! I had no idea who that was, so I googled Jamie Dornan/images and Oh Mah Gawd!
Honey, I don't want to look LIKE him, but I sure do like looking AT him!

I had a professional event today. What a small world--I ended up seated next to my DH's ex-wife's custody attorney from a few year's back. I had to hold my tongue. And of course ultimately I'm glad I did because A) it's a small world and B) she was just doing her job. I wonder if she has any clue what the ex pulled on us? I mostly have forgotten these shenanigans now because we're in such a good place, but the reminder kind of stung. I guess I can say I was the better person. And thank God I don't practice family law. That's so gnarly.
I made the mistake of eating a spinach salad at lunch. My stomach issues have been pretty good as of late. You might recall I thought I possibly had colitis or IBD or something. Shockingly, during pregnancy, it's been much better. As I was driving back to work, I began to have terrible abdominal cramps that even made my backache. Being 9 months pregnant this made me nervous and I headed home instead. I'm pretty confident now it was from the spinach because I've had similar reactions to raw veggies, spinach in particular, in the past.
I think I'm finally on the tail end of this cold. DH thought I was keeping him up at night because I've been up and down, but I realized last night that the opposite is true. He's never been a snorer before and now it's BAD! And once I'm already up, it's hard to go back to sleep. Not only that, but I think it's giving him poor sleep and a sore throat. Any ideas? I was thinking about a wedge pillow. We have a humidifier going.
Wedge pillow is good. Also, My DH has a devise called a Nora or something. Its a small pad slipped into your pillow and plugged into a monitor . It can detect when you snore and then it inflates slightly causing you to adjust your head position and stop snoring. It does work. I am sure he ordered it from Amazon. DS
