Hi Guys!
Welcome Travelher. Hope you find the maintenance group what you need. There seems to be a little bit of everything going on here. I noticed you are a revision. Please tell us about your WLSs and to what you revised. Looking forward to getting to know you.
I did not do any of the wonderful things I had hoped to do yesterday. Instead, I deep cleaned: washed base boards and walls and cleaned the master bath from top to bottom, even washing the cabinets. In the bedroom I moved all the crates, cleaned those, vacuumed, swept, hand washed the floor. By the time I was done with the back of the house and Ron was done with the front, you would have never known our little 1450 sq. foot bungalow is also home to a bevy of Airedales! The new mattress came at about 5:45. The guys got it all set up and then I took off to the vet hospital. Jackson had ears that needed checking (I was right - yeast infection!). Ella and her pups came along for the ride to get flu shots. Jackson got one while he was there, too. Now only need to get Keira and Ace vaccinated and I will relax on that front. The main reason I want the dogs vaccinated is because my old man is going to be 13 next month. He's an old guy and even though he's in great health, he is still equivalent to a man in his early to mid 80s. He doesn't need to have his system taxed with a virulent flu. I would be beside myself if he succumbed to the flu. Therefore, they all have to be vaccinated. Cruel doggy daddy!
Okay, something is blessedly wrong. I dropped more weight. At first I was certain it was because the scale needed to be recalibrated from being moved during cleaning. I reset it, but got the same weight twice in a row. I figure it was accurate then. So, happy day. Maybe it was all the house work! LOL!
With the talk of IF, I thought about my eating habits. My window for eating is about 12-14 hours. I am not a big breakfast guy. I like to have my coffee and eat when I get hungry, which for me is usually mid morning. So, I'm up and at it for about 3 hours before I eat. Then it's just a small something, too, because lunch is 90 minutes or so later. Starting with lunch I tend to eat every 3-4 hours until bed time, which is usually midnight. Then back up at 6:30 or so. Not sure how I would do IF, if I ever thought of doing it. Like I said, probably not for me anyway.
Here's hoping we ALL have a stress free week filled with minor miracles each day. My minor miracle last week was understanding the eclipse was important enough for me to change my sleep habits. I'm so glad that I witnessed it.
Having a clean house always feels good, but I always feel like cleaning, laundry and dishes are never ending: As you are finishing there is already more work being created.
Do dogs get the same flu as humans or is it a different strain?
