I was born in Council Bluffs but only stayed there a week or so. Lived in Omaha on 109th street for my second and third grade. I bet it has changed. I bet the houses on 109th street are so small. Odd but I remember the sale price of a neighbor's house. $5,900. Fancy too.

Kristin Chenoweth's show was great. Devon, I get what you mean about her switching registers. Sometimes it can be jarring. I went with my friend who is a classically trained soprano and she had similar thoughts. But she is hilarious. Lots of talking with the audience telling funny stories. She sang a few songs from Wicked, some standards, some country (a great version of Dolly Parton's Little Sparrow) and some gospel. The gospel stuff was the bit where her voice doesn't quite lend itself to it. A bit too operatic? She ended with Somewhere Over the Rainbow sung without a microphone at the edge of the stage and her voice filled the concert hall. Pretty amazing. Overall it was a really fun night!

131.4, have lost my holiday 5lbs and hit a new all time low for me. And it is my Birthday today and I'm officially 16 months post op. Just turned 50. Prepping for a milestone birthday vacation in a week to celebrate.
