VSG Maintenance Group
02/03/18 Saturday
I worked in a Group home focused in foster kids for 5.5 years. People would drop off toys, puzzles, food all the time. One year put together a dozen bikes. And when the kids left we sent the toys, bikes and puzzles with them. Seeing the generosity of others was a fun part of foster care.

Hoping for a very detailed report on the Chenoweth concert! I actually like her better as an actress than a singer, but I don't cotton to the flipping in and out of registers, as she does. Just not my cup of tea. Probably why I can't stand female opera singers! Same thing. The men would sooner die than change to the false register... Oops... ranting....
But seriously, I ADORE her. She's just a pip and a hell of a wry comedienne.
That is amazing!

Greetings Saturday Peeps
145 today. DH has lost 14 lbs on Atkins. It is visible. We were thinking of going out to dinner tonight. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary but its also the super bowl and we have a guest. So we will just celebrate a different day. He can't drive due to recent eye surgery and I shouldn't drive if I have a glass of wine. Are we old or what?
Hey will someone clue me in on how to find you all on facebook? I am friends with Devon and Dave but don't know how to find the rest of you. I really want to get in on the info and especially Del's obit. Sorry I am so backward. I am finally learning some FB things due to the Dupuytren's support group.
Liz, LOVE the dancing picture. Yep, more dancing in order for you two.
Yes Diane O, not enough coffee for a three puppy wake up night. When I took Tesla to shows a year ago she pooped in the room in the middle of the night both nights and I was up cleaning up and walking her. Not fun.
Hey BB, we are counting the days.....
Paula, I sure wish you could get some sun. I wish you could do a quick girl trip like Joey did. And Ann, a year or two on a cruise ship sounds nice. A few people live on them full time. Not sure I would like that. One of those ships came to our harbor here some years back. We are off the beaten path so its not common. Boy were the merchants ready for them.
So my chiropractor told me that sitting for more than 30 minutes at a time causes hardening of the arteries. So I made a point at the gallery of getting up often and walking in circles. Also stretching. I only had one customer and the $%^##%%## card reader failed. Later I figured out that the plugs were loose and people had taped them up. GRRRRR
I made Popeye pie for dinner last night. So good.
Hey Cecily, keep on painting. And Momsy I hope you are dancing.
Cheers for the weekend. Diane S
Yes, your Facebook name will help us all link with you. I'd love that !
