Weight 117.8, calories 1757. Lots of almonds again, and a few glasses of wine at the dance last night. But bathroom time has already been good since weighing (the almonds are working).
I agree that Del's obituary is beautiful. What an interesting and accomplished man he was (and handsome). I loved the non-traditional picture.
DH did have a fantastic time at the dance! He danced with me and everyone. He kept saying that we have to do more of that and I agreed (reminding him that we have another dance in 11 days). We met some interesting people and just had an overall good time. So funny though that the dances start at 5:30 and everyone was gone shortly after 9! But everyone danced from beginning to end. I had been "invited" to sit at the table of one of our walking people, but I had already bought tickets. I actually have somewhat intentionally asked to be put at any available table so we could meet new people and it worked out great last night.
Today we are going to a Craft/Art Fair in Ft. Myers. Should be fun (but may be hot... hmmm).
Have a successful Saturday!

Liz, that FB photo of you and DH dancing was beautiful!
Thanks for your obituary and photo compliments. The obituary photograph of my husband won a Clio Award (the "Oscars" of the advertising industry).
Two more deaths yesterday -- my college roommate's sister and only sibling and a long-time client/good friend who died in his sleep at 51. Jeez Louise!
Am looking forward to my sister's birthday celebration tonight and hoping for good birthday cake.
I'm ready for spring, budding trees, birdsong, and a year or two on a small Italian cruise ship.
Today's theme: Cake

The obit and picture were beautiful. Maybe your security person (f) could carry a bullwhip in honor of Del.
Cake: so many ways for cake to go wrong. Fingers crossed that tonight's is perfect.

I like your theme of the day Ann. I was eating Skittles as I was reading yesterday's board messages and then thought, how wrong is this???? They actually tasted too sweet this morning so maybe I can avoid them for the rest of the day!
Loved Del's obit. He certainly lived a very fascinating life and that pic, oh that pic......I can see why it won an award. I hope you have it printed big and hanging on a wall of yours. So ruggedly handsome that man of yours was!
