Weight 148.8. Too tired to go and look up my calories from yesterday but they were under 1,200 and included too many Rice Krispy treats. Exercise today was a lot of lying around in the ER bed and then a short burst of exercise for my stress test.
The bad news is that I spent from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm today having various tests to assess why I have been having chest pain and palpitations. I had a 12 lead EKG, blood work, chest X-ray, CT angio with contrast, Nitro paste application, Aspirin, Tylenol for the headache that the Nitro gave me, a few bags of fluid to bring my blood pressure back up from the Nitro (it went down into the 70's) and a stress test with echocardiogram before and after. I'm sure my day ran into the 10's of thousands! Thank God for insurance and out of pocket max's which I'm sure we will meet again this year!
The good news is everything looked pretty good. I will meet with my PCP to discuss the possibility of some anti-anxiety meds.
The stress just keeps coming though. My Dad is back in the hospital, getting his gallbladder out tonight. Mom is having dizzy spells that sound a lot like vertigo - and they are in FL where neither my brother or I can help them! Ben also has a new "lump" on his back that I fear is another tumor. He will have his PET scan moved up from March to next week Friday (insurance pending of course). I will be anxious to see if our new insurance company is easier to work with when it comes scans getting approved! Remember me having Moh's surgery for basal cell carcinoma last April? I think I might have another spot near where the first one was removed. I have an appointment with the Dermatologist next week. God heard a few choice words from me on my way home from work....or I guess the ER today. I actually didn't cuss, but told Him that I have had enough already!
Calories should be low today, didn't get to eat lunch in the ER.
I just want to wrap you and your family in bubble wrap til the storm clears.
So glad that tests were negative for heart issues. Also glad that you, personally, will be getting some support. Positive thoughts going out to the lot of you.

You have way more stress than anyone's body could easily handle. I'm sorry you had to go through all that testing but glad that there doesn't seem to be a physical cause.
