Okay, I officially hate you! LOL! Not really.... You look too small for being 34 weeks! Man, this is a prime time example of how being taller with a longer torso is sure paying off! You look fantastically fit, healthy, and not even close to popping a pup! IMO, you are rocking this pregnancy thing with style!

I so love this picture. You could be on a magazine cover now that its fashionable to show pregnant women! DS

Ah, back under 165. That feels better. I had an interesting chat with my therapist yesterday. We were discussing the peanut butter filled pretzel incident. I was explaining that there is an underlying defiance to my actions when I eat like that. It's intentional self-sabotage. My fear of failing is so strong, lately I've been throwing myself off the wagon on purpose just to get it over with and not have to deal with the anxiety that goes along with the "will I or won't I fail" question. We talked for a long time about perfectionism, how "living in the hallway" is not living - it's hiding from fear, how I need to trust that I have the skills to keep it off, caring self-parenting, etc.

This morning I'm off for a hike, but it's going to be hot again today and this one has zero shade and lots of uphill stretches, so I'll cut it short if it heats up too fast. This afternoon I'm headed to the movies with my friends to see The Greatest Showman. I'm going to go easy on any popcorn I have to stay on track!

Have a great day all!

Congrats on honing in on the weight - I've been doing better too! Have a great hike and enjoy the movie - it is getting positive reviews on my Facebook feed!

I'm here listening, but have a lot of moving parts here today, so won't post my regular way. Last night and today my sister is visiting me; we have pedicures this afternoon at 3, and I have a doctor's appointment at 2. I already missed (forgot about) my 6-month dental cleaning this morning.

Finished (except for final edit) my husband's obituary and had several calls yesterday with his children to verify info for the obituary. Those calls just wring me out emotionally -- the sharing of grief, that is. Everyone's wonderful, but we're all just hurting and only able to bare every single bit of our pain to each other who knew him so well.

Anyway, I'll be back later ....

Greetings Tuesday Maintaners

I think I was 144.5 but I got up at the crack of dawn and its sort of a blur. They called yesterday to move DH eye surgery up to 7:15 am (from noon) so I had to be up and conscious early. We managed to get there and everything went fine. Glad this is over.

Paula I am thinking about you and your son. I have no advice as I have no kids. I am wondering if your son just wants the snacks or if he meets friends for snacks. I hope the counseling helps.

Yay, its old people discount Tuesday at the health food store. I am so dependent on that place.

Yeah Diane O, I'm with you on the rowdy dog. That dog should not be there regardless of who handles it. Too many nice dogs in the world to tolerate a cranky one - especially in a therapy situation.

Ann, yes those phone calls can be so hard because you have to keep re-living experiences and answering the same questions. Find your pie.

My hands are healing well. And my BP seems to have normalized. 118/75. Guess I have become a nervous old lady driver.

Liz so sorry your DH is becoming less capable. Not much to do but accept it. I hope you can get some respite from time to time with SIL or someone to keep an eye on him when needed. I know he is a long way off yet, but my Grandmother with AZ went to adult day care and had a fine time.

Well today I have to go set up a new bank account, get payroll for the studio, figure out how to get the dog in for a booster shot, and play in the studio without getting clay in my wounds. And stop at the health store. Plus "baby" the DH and fix him a nice steak dinner. Of course, there is always the processing of papers and removal of junk. Crazy Pat apparently left me a life insurance benefit. As mentioned, more combat pay.

Peace and joy and good health. Diane S
