Lawry's Prime Rib restaurant serves a Coconut Banana Cream Pie that is just this side of heaven. They make it with a toasted coconut crust made with 3 cups of shredded coconut, fill it with bananas and vanilla cream pudding made with 3 cups of half and half, then top with fresh whipped cream and more coconut for good measure. It'll kill you, but you'll die happy.

When we all come to see you in O.C., Cecily, we'll go to Lawry's and split a single piece of that amazing sounding pie!

From a real pie shop it is like pudding from heaven. I make chocolate pies. It goes into a crust in liquid form and come out like something you can cut. Like pumpkin pie. I also make meringue on mine.

Weight 117.6, calories 1411. A brownie was ingested - no fiber there.

We didn't make it to any walking trails, but I did find some candidates for other days. We spent quite a bit of time looking for a fresh fish market to buy grouper at. The closest recommended one ended up being closed so we had to backtrack and drive quite a distance to the other one. We did play Cornhole in the afternoon and took a walk around the park. The picture below was from our walk.

Today is coffee at Panera with the walking crew, lunch poolside and line dancing class this afternoon. A full day for us retired folks.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Liz, I just love all your pics. Simply love them.

I had to look up the cornhole game. As a native Iowan, I was surprised there was anything "corn" that I hadn't heard of.

Hehehe! Even this old California boy knows the ********* game! (Granted a friend's grown children taught me, but...)

We were pretty bad at it... but I did get 2 or 3 in the hole.

Beautiful pictures! I am deathly afraid of alligators and snakes, so the idea of finding walking trails made me shudder, Liz! We did do a trail with a boardwalk at a park on the Hillsborough river, years ago. I did it, but was really nervous the whole time. Good for you for even looking for trails!
