Weight 160, calories 1142

Still dropping. My skin looks awful and so deflated! Oh well. This is likely temporary. I did blend up some cheddar broccoli soup and had a good bit of that yesterday to get some fat and calories in. It was heaven. This is the last day of liquids then onto soft foods where calories are so much easier.

My dad and his wife are back in CA and coming by today to visit. It'll be great to see them as I haven't since Thanksgiving. Otherwise, pretty boring around here!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Cecily -- offering some valid hope for you about that skin: It really, really, really does spring back a lot! Even for me, it did. And I'm about 4 times older than you. ;)

Greetings my fine non-feathered friends!

Don't know what made me think of feathered friends. Maybe the lime chicken we had last night. That and green beans made for a healthy dinner and I am down a pound to 142.5. And I was reasonably active yesterday. Took loads of papers to the recycle and walked the town square doing Christmas shopping. Loud socks, fancy organic teas and other goodies made it home with me. Also bright colored file folders to help me with the paper mess.

Hey Paula and Liz, getting some games sounds fun. For years my invalid mother loved to play cards and was pretty good even with her slow and limited movement. I so wish my DH would play some games but he doesn't like them. So I play on line scrabble with cyber people. DH is in love with his iPad and reading political stuff.

Well at least I am in the home stretch with all the year end stuff for the galleries and studio. Year end bonus checks are ordered and the final stuff should get resolved this week.

BB, yep I am betting that the tall thing is why no one guessed. Or maybe they did but didn't say anything. Two women in my law school class became pregnant. The taller one just had a baby bump and not one other ounce. The short tiny one really spread out wide. Go figure. Both had healthy babies and returned to normal size.

Liz and Cecily, glad you are both on the mend. Too bad Liz can't give some "puffy face" to Cecily, but both will resolve. I came across some "fat" pictures recently. Its amazing what a chub face I was.

And Ann, take it easy on that knee. You are only issues two and both are needed. I have a friend who is now on her third knee replacement and its been a terrible journey for her. Best to take care of the original model. She wrecked her knees with loads of jogging.

My theme for the day is "eat your vegetables". Also "clean your brain" by getting sleep and expelling bad thoughts. Diane S

Love you all ! Love reading your posts... I have puppy brain. Atlas was one of eleven puppies. When we saw him Saturday, he was fully weaned at seven weeks. We know a puppy needs more time with their litter. Mom and litter mates have more imprinting to do, and I know 8-10 weeks is the recommended departure date. I was selfish and jumped on the breeders confidence in my experience and knowledge level and desire to release the confident, self assured puppies. Atlas is fabulous! Prefers big dog toys over puppy toys. No accidents in the house. He is easily redirected, and is eating and toileting well. Devon... Sadie is assisting and Atlas has not tried to nurse on her... Just intermittently bite her tail. Weight down a bit..no time to eat !!
