209.2 I was up in the Two-teens! So much stress, so much going on. Had a fit at the local hospital last week, signed my daughter out against medical advice and drove her to Philadelphia. I highly recommend the Hospital at the University of Penn! They found that her "dry weight" was 30 lbs too high, which means she had 30 extra pounds of fluid and toxins after dialysis. They also found a benign brain tumor and ran a gazillion non-invasive tests. They didn't do the invasive ones until they had to, which they didn't. She is lined up with their transplant team.
My car broke down on a major highway last week. The towing and repairs are astronomical but my aunt is helping me. It is still not fixed, so I have been relying on the kindness of others and WALKING a ... LOT!
Just a drive-by, hope to catch up soon.
I had been wondering how you were. Sorry to hear about your car and your DD healthcare. Accepting help is hard sometimes, we have been on the receiving end of others over the years. So thankful. People will give and glad to do it when they see a real need.
