Hi all,

Safe travels, Liz! BB, not sure what happened that your WLS became public knowledge. Will go back and read when I have time, but that sucks. Your medical issues are not anyone else's business. Boooo!

No Thanksgiving shopping or prep has even begun here! There will be only 4 of us, so that will make it easy. Hoping to keep it simple. A bird, mashed potatoes, dressing, homemade cranberry sauce, maybe green beans or brussels sprouts. Not going to bother with a pie. It's cheaper to buy one at Costco and, frankly, it's just as good as the pie I make from scratch (one year I started with a pumpkin! LOL - NEVER AGAIN!)

Weight is still in the 10 pound over range. Eh.... is what it is. At least I'm strong. That helps me deal with the fat part.

Still feel as if I'm catching up on my rest. I am telling clients that I am figuring out a restructure of my grooming business. I hope that some of them realize that means I will have to let them go. I hate doing that, but working 7 days a week for so many years now is simply taking its toll. I can't keep doing it and remain "happy". I groomed only 4 Airedales yesterday! 10 am to 7 pm. At least one was my old man! LOL!

Well, the client will be here in 15 minutes and I'm still in my robe and haven't even brushed my teeth! Gotta get a move on!

Devon, that is excellent that you're going to reorganize your grooming business and focus on a more sustainable, happier way of life. Totally endorse your decision! :)

If washing my 85 pound furball is any indication, dog washing and grooming is seriously hard work. I always end up a sweaty mess by the time Fergus is scrubbed. I was thinking of washing him before I send him to the boarder's home as a kindness, but I just don't feel like it!
