"Caffeinated bean juice"! That made us both laugh -- which is welcome here today. :)

Hubby said, "She's one of the lawyers, right?" The best rationalizers in the world! LOL!

EDIT: P.S. Congrats on hitting the 130s again! :)

Weight 168.6 (down 2.2 this week), average weekly calories 1257.

I just had a gorgeous walk on the beach I shared a picture of yesterday. Such a nice way to start the day with friends! We spent a little time poking around the tidepools as it was low tide. Lots of hermit crabs running around in their borrowed shells and green/blue sea anemones.

Still working on my closet, but admittedly I'm taking lots of breaks! Soon is a walk with the dog and then a quick trip to the grocery store for yogurts.

Hope you all are well!

Cecily, I see a lot of folks going below goal as they are gradually able to believe it's OK to eat more and find their way toward maintenance. It's a bit of a supernatural WLS phase. Or it felt like that in my case. :)

Very strange indeed! In past weight loss efforts, I would get to my goal feel good for a moment and then start feeling like my fingers were slipping off the cliff edge. Then I would lose my grip and start gaining it back. I love feeling the restriction and knowing for the moment, that it's keeping me from losing my grip. I don't feel like I'm hanging on for dear life this time.

Not much time to post. Just wanted to say hey. Weight is still in the 10 pound too much range. (Which is really 40 pounds too much, but who's counting, right?)

My upcoming week is brutal. I am way behind in reading testing, need to have report cards done by Tuesday afternoon and begin parent teacher conferences at 5:00 pm on Tuesday evening. I'm also rehearsing the kids for the Opera a la Carte performance on Friday. Thankfully, I have no doggies to groom this week. I do have to accompany a close friend on Thursday to euthanize her dog and my BFF's dog (one that I co bred and gave to him) is having mobility issues and he's over the top emotional about that and is having a lot of trouble coping. Have to get the pups in to the vet this week, too, for final shots. I will do that in the evening as a tech appointment, but it's just one more thing on the list.

All this to say, I may take a few days away from posting, but not reading! I like to stay connected at least by reading. So, if you see a like here and there, know I'm just taking a little break from posting simply because it takes time for me to formulate my thoughts and I am feeling like I can't afford the time.

Liz, CONGRATULATIONS on your official last day tomorrow (though in Mass it's already Monday!)!!!!
