It sounds like the news with Ben was as favorable as it could have been. Hopefully treatment won't be too onerous.
That long a suspension seems a bit over the top to me, but I guess DS won't do that again?

Wow! The medical news today brings up emotions that are not in concert. I read Paula's caring bridge post before logging on to OH. My heart soared to read the post she wrote earlier today. Then I read Ann's post and my heart sank. But when I read about coming home to fika, crosswords, and routine I couldn't help but smile. Such comfort in routine.
Carbs are soft and soothing. I ate an entire half Belgium waffle today after sending Blue off with her new people. Went out for lunch at local breakfast lunch place cuz I wanted comfort food. Well, I ordered the biggest breakfast ever! LOL! I think the waitress thought I was nuts when she came back and I asked for a box. She saw I had eaten a single egg, a couple bites of hashbrowns and chicken fried steak and half a waffle. Ron devoured his. Several cookies have made it down the gullet today, too. But frankly, I didn't give a rats pooper!
News Flash - Ron is going to get his first cell phone this weekend. Can you believe he's made it to almost 2018 and still has yet to have a mobile device? I'm glad he's finally seen the light, drank the Koolaid.... I will move to Sprint and we'll get a great rate on a family plan and get my bff on our plan, too. 3 lines, $100 per month until 1/31/2019, then $130 per month there after. Pretty good. Only other plan that's cheaper is that "old person" cell provider (www.consumercellular.com) ! LOL!
Peaceful Saturday, everyone.
Thank you to all the veterans that have served in our armed forces and protected our liberty and way of life.
DD moved to Sprint recently and has been very pleased with the cost and reception. I chuckled at Ron just getting one though! DH has a tough time with his, but he does have a phone. Though I am getting him a refurbished iPod (Cecily's great suggestion) to replace the one that is dying as he loves his music and wouldn?t be able to figure out how to play it on an iphone. He has had an iPod for so long that it is second nature to him and he spends a lot of time listening to it especially when he is not feeling 100% mentally or physically.
