Yesterday's 8 V/F servings came from avocado, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, green beans, potatoes, and red grapes (lots!).
Yesterday, we got a call from the St. Louis hospital / cancer center where hubby's additional diagnostic tests will be done. We have a consultation appointment there with a doc next Wednesday. We'll drive to STL that morning and stay at a hotel near the hospital that night (or longer, if we can get diagnostics scheduled during the same trip).
Cecily, Paula and I both have husbands who are dealing with cancer recurrences right now. This group has its fair share of personal and family medical issues and illnesses.
Yesterday I did everything on my to-do list except clean the bathrooms. Gotta suck it up today. ;)
It's still hot here this morning - 62 degrees outside at 3:30 am.

Weight 118.2, calories 1133. I have not been here since mid-summer and it is at the top of my comfort range, so it is time to drop down in calories for a while (though the plumbing might also be a bit backed up). Argghhh... working from home and going out to eat multiple times a week are dangerous. I have a dinner out tonight and Monday, so I will just have to make good choices!
I am glad you got the appointment for DH Ann. It looks like Paula and Ben are still waiting for the insurance company to connect with their doctors today. I remember how difficult it was to be going through this with a loved one and have no control!
DH and I hiked around in Wellfleet yesterday. What a beautiful part of Cape Cod (much different than where I am on the upper Cape). See pics below (Cedar Swamp Trail and Marconi Station).
Have a Fixative Friday!

Thanks! I was thinking when I took them that they wouldn?t stand up to yours in quality. Plus it was a little hazy yesterday.

Gosh, those are beautiful pix, Liz. What lovely places to walk you live near. Thanks for posting these.

The picture of the Cedar Swamp Trail only gives a small flavor of it. It wound around for quite a while and I kept feeling like a fairy house was going to be around the next corner!

Sure do love those pics! So peaceful!

Not sure what contribution I can add since I'm not maintaining, certainly :)
Been feeling pretty rundown. Overthinking. I'm a multitasker who needs to stop. Maybe new goal for new year (heck, why not now?!) to focus on one thing at a time. I think studies even prove that "multitasking" doesn't really exist. You're really just dividing your time, no matter what. I need to be more intentional with what I'm doing.
I guess that all kind of goes back to the idea of being present and having an attitude of gratitude. Right now, for example. I'm already tired of wearing maternity clothes (all of 3 weeks into it), disappointed with my body, etc. But this may be my only time to experience pregnancy and it will be over so quickly. For every season (turn, turn, turn).
