Ah Devon, that touched my heart . I'm sure Blue will have a wonderful future due to the great start you gave her and the good home you've picked for her.

Interesting about the neck. What a cool thing to influence the physical integrity of an entire breed! The Airedales are lucky to have you. I had no doubt Blue was going to a great home, all of your posts ooze commitment to each and every one of your pups (and the Frenchies!)

I know the open wounds are different when they are on you but the body is amazing in how fast the healing can be. I have seen significant growth in 12 hours. Every dressing change there is growth and healing. Prayers of healing. Dave

Luscious recipe, Diane. Just read it to hubby. Someone recently gave us a dozen free-range chicken eggs (lots of chicken hobbyists around here!). Cannot wait to make and enjoy this. And I know we'll add some sausage to it. :)

Thanks!

David this reminds me I recently read an article (I think it was about habits of successful people maybe?) that had a quote "start your day by eating the frog." I SO need to start doing this. Get the thing you're dreading the most out of the way. Most usually I find out it wasn't that bad, I feel so relieved and productive once it's done, and it isn't much fun carrying around that dread/fear etc. all day/week/month/year

168.6. Whew I live another day in the 160s

Feeling very festive in my black and orange gear and Halloween jewelry today.

Maybe pregnancy hormones are a real thing. But I hate using excuses. All I can say is I've been feeling very little patience with people, culminating in me walking out of my hairdresser-of-12-year's office yesterday because she was 30 minutes late and is always late and disrespectful of my time. I feel like adding oxygen to any small fires. Normally I'd just vent this to my husband. But nope. I stormed out after telling her how the cow ate the cabbage. And of course now I feel very bad. I'm not sure I could live up to my own demands right now :(

That being said, a resolution I need to work on is timeliness. I'm not as notoriously bad as my hairdresser, but I'm easily 5 minutes late for everything (fashionably late). [As a host, I will tell you candidly that I think it's far more rude to be 5-10 minutes early than 5-10 minutes late. However more than 10 minutes late and I think you're not coming and panic sets in. But maybe this is personal preference. Guests who show up early force me to host while I'm at the most crucial point of trying to time the ovens, etc.] But the times that I'm later than that, I really need to work on. And I'm sure the year I'm having a baby isn't the best time to put this plan into action. But it really does just make the other person feel so insignificant.
