Yahoo! We have internet again.
Yesterday's V/Fs came from carrots, butter lettuce, kale/spinach/greens, onions, plantains, peppers, and (surprisingly) a banana. It was a funny eating day; I had a real hankerin' for bread and ate a toasted whole-wheat bun with melted cheddar cheese. At this point in my WLS career, I'm not as suspicious of food cravings as I used to be. I can tell the difference between the urge to eat a box of chocolates vs. one whole-wheat bun.
And for your consideration, here's a food product review. The current issue of Consumer Reports reviews some microwaveable meals called Power Bowls or Buddha Bowls. Last night we had a couple for dinner, both made by Healthy Choice, and they were GREAT! Hubby had the Cuban-Inspired Pork, and I had the Adobo Chicken. They have good macros, reasonably low sodium (600 mg), and just-right sizes (9.5 ounces) at a good price (about $3.50), and are quite chewy and tasty!
That's all I got. Happy Hump Day to all.

Good morning!
Ann, thanks for the product review! Our internet, sadly, has also been lacking. I'm also looking at switching but it is such a pain to organize. I can't upset my sports loving DH!
It would be a good day for a hike but I need to adult today, instead. If I am productive, it will be worth it and feel almost as good.
The NYT has an article about a study demonstrates that exercise changes mice brains for the better. But the really interesting thing is they used modified rabies to track brain function. Rabies is such a marquee bad boy and they tamed it for good.
And, on the rabies front, a cousin in Iowa (who my dad has always called a knucklehead, which is about as bad as name calling my dad does in mixed company,) was bit by a bat as he slept in a recliner. He found the energy to catch the bat and it tested positive for rabies.
Continuing the tangents......my Iowa cousins have grown "massive," as my mom likes to say, and terribly out of shape. They are not fat but fit. They are fat in recliners. My dad's side of the family, in particular, pays terrible consequences for being obese.
This all leads me to gratitude that this ol' body of mine is healthy, and rabies free.
Hug your health! Shel

Maybe you might consider weighing less frequently? IF that would help?

True! Mentally always difficult though (for me at least).

Weight ? (Friend in scale room), calories 762.
I'm in the office today, taking down personal stuff and doing transition work. I expect to go in maybe twice more in my remaining 26 workdays. I have my 18 month checkup with my surgeon this afternoon (which is why I'm in the office - the surgeon is near here).
Have a wholeheartedly good Wednesday!

Liz, I'm envisioning a "Days Until Retirement" ticker in your signature block.

Doing wood work today. Have one full size and a half of the queen bed platforms made. Still lack the king.
My internet was 0.64Mbs yesterday, dial up is 0.57Mbs. Thank you HughesNet.
I'm still doing the morning shake with all the goodies. The N&Y cravings have not reared their head.
Shel, I have known a knucklehead or two. They are petty bad. Heres to a rabies free day.
My dad used to quote and author in his sermons. Talked about the sad state of the world and the quality of children being raised. The author was Aristotle. The world has had bad events for a long time.
Seek peace in chaos. David
