Woke early so I caught up on reading the posts. Thought I would start a post for a change.

Wt 227 up 11 from the beginning of the summer but was higher than that. Freaked out a bit but I am back on the right path. Mood good, eating good. That don't care that I don't care was not good for me. No N&Y since sept 26. I have been doing the green shake every day. sometimes 2 times a day. Grapes for snacks. We had a moving day and I ate pizza with the gang. And ate ribs a couple of times. It is difficult for me to eat meat. Even the ribs made me a little nauseous.

I have been in the shop working on platform beds. I one built except finish and 2 more to go. The are built to disassemble because they go upstairs. Also moved DD#1 here. She qualified for low rent housing so our house is almost empty. I plan to focus on it and fini**** and maybe sell it. I may have to rent it for a while until they can get their financing in order. Hope it goes better than last time.

Ann, so glad DH's lymphoma is the lesser aggressive of the two. Sending prayers. Hope you have better luck with hughes net than we are. The speed is really fast on the speed test but the youtube videos will buffer so I don't know what the deal is. I use up my data in about 10 days and then it throttles down to about 3mbs. I can't tell much difference between the 2 or I would just up my plan. It is my only option right now. Verison has unlimited data plans but I don't have a data booster for my location. I do have a signal booster but it only does phone signal not data.

Liz, My turn to wake at 2 am and post early. I never wanted to retire. I don't travel well and need to express my creative side. I was a work-a-holic during my work life as a cabinet maker and later as a nurse. I think you will do well with retirement.

Diane S, Sorry that the crazy room mate passed. Did she have family? Glad the battery fixed your car. $300 for a battery is a bunch but way cheaper than a car payment. I want a truck but can't justify buying one. DS#1 has a delivery van that I can use anytime and has a truck when he is not using it. So I really can't buy one for myself. It would just sit in the drive way.

Diane O, Glad your travels to the big city went well. I was a wine maker before WLS. I have had it a couple of times in the past 3 years. Didn't like the quick drunk no pain control. Bourbon on the other had goes down well. Helps with pain. I bought a bottle recently and it didn't last as long as I meant for it to.

BB, I don't think you blew the budget on clothes. I but one type of pants because of comfort. They are $90 a pair. (LLBean knife edge pants) I would buy them at twice that for the comfort.

Paula, Enjoy your scrap booking.

Shel, Hope you visit with your plastics guy goes well. Hope they can help. I tried to grab some of your pics of your hikes and am unable to. Must be an OH thing.

JoeyJo, I had some of the best fresh tomatoes of the season. They were tennis ball sized.

More later, David

Good morning David. It was nice to see your face on the daily post! "Mood good, eating good" - that's what counts at this point.

Today would have been DD#1's 45th birthday. We used to love celebrating birthdays and it is still hard each year on this day. Picture of her below (@ 21) as well as her godchildren Kylie and Molly who were 2 years and 2 months respectively when Elise passed away (12.5 years ago).

Have a tutu wearing and thriving Tuesday!
