Greetings Busy Maintainers

I am here to report that I did take Tesla for a good walk yesterday and was rewarded with gain of a pound. Still I will do it again today. She is sort of full of beans and needs to work off some energy.

Liz I so love your countdown to retirement. I am sort of re-living my own escape from the business world. I have never regretted it. Think of the endless beach days you will have. We should do more beach days here though its cold its still beautiful.

Diane O, New York can be so fun (for a visit). The lamb sounds divine. Love the stuff but DH hates it. They had an all lamb event at the fairgrounds a few weeks ago here. All the 4-H kids with their lamb. Maybe I should have gone by myself.

Dave good to hear from you and that you are back to carpentry. Weigh when you feel like it.I think you should ea****ermelon if you want to. Its low cal. And for the record, the only sports I watch is college football. I dislike pro sports for the same reason as you though the college teams have issues. I have told my friends that if I ever start being interested in the NBA to intervene.

BB so good of you to cook for others. A bite or two of a dessert is totally cool. I think you are going to do just fine through your pregnancy and beyond.

Yep Devon, you have created little bundles of joy for your puppy parents. And they will send you pictures and such. Are the nationals at Montgomery County? I have always wanted to go to that show as its the biggest terrier fest I know of.

Well, DH is arriving in the driveway after one of his stealth shopping trips. No telling what he is coming home with that we don't need.

Woke up with feelings of dread about my trip to the midwest to clean out mother's house. Gotta learn not to worry about it.

Shrimp and sweet peppers last night. Canadian bacon and eggs tonight. But first, more coffee. Diane S

Yup, nationals are at Montgomery. Hoping that the puppies' daddy, Phil, does well back there. He is currently the #1 Airedale all systems and #2 Terrier all systems.

210.4 but that was dressed and after I had breakfast. I was going to skip the weight, but needed to see a number. Not that number though. It was a rough weekend. I have been working Friday nights and most Saturdays to earn extra money to keep us afloat. My aunt and uncle wanted to take me out to dinner for my birthday, so I suggested brunch Sunday but she changed it to lunch and made it a fancier place, which is fine. I figured I'd get fish since I live at the shore. They messed up fish. Simple. broiled. fish. Messed it up. Oh well, it was one meal. No biggie, but we had to sit there for hours, because it's an event to them. We had to get dessert because it was my birthday, she told everybody working there.

This all sounds sweet as I'm typing it, but there's an undercurrent of control. She did not want my grandsons there, because they are too noisy. She complains about everybody, including people very close to me, but she owns me. I have had to borrow money from her, which I pay back. But, she is my safety net. I do as I'm told because she truly holds grudges and can be very negative. I do not want to be on her list.

I didn't finish my meal, which is a big problem in my family. We clean our plates, but I can blame the surgery. I ordered dessert as was insisted and when I took a bite, she announced that I can eat dessert, but not my green beans. I told her I was saving them for dinner because they were so good. She has serious food issues herself.

Her mother was my grandmother who asked my parents when they were going to buy me a girdle and the relatives all laughed. I was 10 andI had a 10-year old girl's potbelly. I looked up "girdle" in the dictionary when I got home and cried. Yeah, I guess I forgive my aunt. Thank you Dr. O H.
