It is yuge! We're No. 2 now! Oh boy oh boy it's one of those games I'll remember for a long time to come. My husband and I went to the game in Norman last year and it was one of the worst football experiences :( Everything flooded out while we were tailgating (about 10 in. standing water!), a 2 1/2 hr. rain delay for a game that was already going to be at 6pm game, and then to lose so humiliating fashion. We left at halftime.

So I feel slightly vindicated. And very good about my Sooners. This is a bit of a sad year as Bob Stoops, the longest sitting coach at the time, retired before this season. I've pretty much grown up in the Stoops era. Sounds dumb, but things like that are the familiar faces of home. So I'm very happy and relieved to see that maybe the Riley era will be amazing and exciting too.

(You're a cornhuskers fan, right? I'm still sad about Nebraska leaving the Big XII. Sad face. So many great years where the OU-Neb rivalry was bigger and had more implications than the red river rivalry)
