209. Support group meeting tomorrow night. I want to go and listen. I am so burnt out right now that I don't want to infect anyone with my negativity. This too shall pass. The positives are that both kids are doing well and not hospitalized. My poor Italian Greyhound is clicking around on his cast like he's a pirate with a peg leg and getting more and more brave. He doesn't wait to be carried anymore. If he wants to get down, he just jumps and scares us every time. He jumps up too, which is not as scary because it's always onto a mattress or cushions, but he's a nut.
September is in my top 3 favorite months -- it is also my birthday month and ... pumpkin!
People tell me it will get better if you hang on a little while longer. You are still able to see the positive side of things. Focus on the good. We had a bassengy (sp) that broke a leg and was running with a pack of kids in a foster home. He got tangled up in the kids legs and got the other leg broke. It was a funny thump thump when he would run down the hall. It was going to cost us big time and some of the girls ran away and took him with them. Never saw the dog or kids again.

I am glad peanut is doing well with it even though he is making you nervous.

Hey, hey! Happy first day of school for me.... Yesterday was a bear of a day getting ready. Stayed at school until 8:00 pm.
Got up early to get all the puppy and dog things done this morning before school. Discovered I need to get up 15 minutes earlier to make my morning more relaxed and pleasant. Will reset alarm tonight!
Forgot to weigh this morning in the rush of getting ready. Perhaps it was a passive aggressive move on my part. I ate like **** yesterday. Stress eating from around noon to 7:00 pm resulted in.... count them.... 6 chocolate chip cookies. Ha! In the greater scheme of things, 6 chocolate chip cookies pales in comparison to the damage I used to be able to do, and this was not binge eating, but emotional stress eating, so I'm not too bothered by it. The nice thing about school is that at least it puts me in a food/eating routine!
Had my annual labs drawn yesterday morning. (I didn't realize, just how over due they were!). All have come back in the normal range, so that pleases me. Still waiting on copper level, though. That will take several days.
Must get the kiddos from recess!
School already? It always seems so early!
