Happy Eclipse Day !! Though I'm not even near the direct path, it is still pretty exciting !!
We've painted just about everything, and yesterday we pulled out a pressure treated wood retaining wall outside the back garage door, replacing it with a patio block. I now want to continue the block as a border along the back of the house, separating the river rock from the lawn, making weed wacking much easier. Love having the time to work on these projects !
Weight is stable in my range, but I see myself getting a bit sloppy... too many carbs, not enough protein or fluid. It hasn't impacted cravings, but I want to tighten things up before that happens.
Have a glorious day !

It looks like the maximum eclipse here in Massachusetts is at 2:46 pm (though we will only have a partial one). I'll still be working so I'll have to remember to look outside. Our weekend company leaves this morning and I think BIL is coming to take DH to the beach.
Its a full work week (with short days Thursday and Friday), but I am off the first 3 days next week and we are going to Nantucket, a beautiful, quaint island off of Cape Cod.
Have a magnificent Monday!

Happy Eclipse! I have my glasses packed to take to work! I'm pretty sure I have patients in that time period but am sure I can find a few minutes here and there.
More importantly, I met Ann and her amazing DH yesterday!!!! We attended a Monet exhibit, did a little shopping and talked up a storm. I am so glad that we got together.....exceeded expectations! As I was leaving, I realized I forgot pictures so there is no photographic evidence.
Another quick pic below from Saturday's hike then off to my workout and then off to work. Hi ho Hi ho.

That mountain in the back has a name. But for now, it is just No Name.

It was a wonderful day with Shel. She's so lovely in every way. We talked our asses off! The weather was gorgeous. We really lucked out. Thank you, Shel, for trekking across an international border to see us. We both hope this is only the first visit we get to have with you.

That's cool! It just looked like a cloud dulled the sun a little here in New England.

cool pic! . Most people were very disappointed with their direct pics of the eclipse. This indirect representation is brilliant.

First official day back to school.
Weight holding. Lots of stress, but I'm sort of managing by acknowledging coping mechanisms and letting go of "perfection ". For the first time in years I put no food restrictions on myself for today (first day back is catered breakfast and catered lunch). Interestingly, I ate far less than I have in past post VSG years. Hmmmmm....
To make today a little more fun we played hooky from our meetings to observe the eclipse. (About 80% here) then came home to puppies for relaxation therapy!
