Our friend from NY arrived yesterday afternoon. We spent the morning cleaning in preparation. Somehow that doesn't get done when the weather is nice and I'm off.

We need to figure out an activity for today. It looks like the weather is going to be nicer than originally forecasted so we could do a sail excursion or whale watch.

Greetings Maintenance Peeps

Where is everyone? Oh yeah, Shel and Ann are painting the town! No such fun for me. Laundry and chores to prepare to leave on short trip tomorrow and get ready for the pet/house sitter. The old dog is hanging in there. We cut back her medication a little since we learned she may be having some side effects. She seems a bit perkier.

We had the BLTs again last night. My weight is up another half. Really gotta get after it and this trip will have lots of eating pitfalls. DH's sister wants to cook all the time though she has a new place and may not be fully unpacked. Not sure what is planned but probably very little except DH and nephew do marathon sci-fi watching. It will be nice to not have to be the planner/organizer for once.
