Clearly, if I am the first to post, we are in uncharted territory.

Devon, more puppy pics and stories please. Today is a day for puppies.

Got my work out in, have to get into Seattle for meetings. I will say that I am jut 4 days away from meeting Ann! How about that?!!!!

Hug a puppy, pet or peep today.

Shel

207.0. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but the emotional eating is deeply concerning. Unfortunately or fortunately I suppose, it is time for me to go to one-on-one therapy.

Last night on payday eve, I went to Costco and stocked up on essentials which feels powerful.

Yesterday my son found one of my dad's metal water thermoses, filled it with water and put it in the fridge to get super cold for me to gently nudge me to drink my water since we were out of Propel and faux Vitamin Water. I took it to heart and have been using it constantly.

Nothing from my daughter yet, which was expected but still sad. sigh Being the bigger/healthier person, I sent her a text saying that I am still reeling from our fight, that I started to compile a list of all the money I gave her or spent for her like she asked, but decided that I don't care anymore. I would like her to repay me for the car and the kids' camp, but I'm not asking her for it anymore. I told her that I really have jeopardized everything for her and her family including my house, job and car, but have no regrets. I told her that I did it so she would survive and her kids would be happy, not so I could throw it in her face (as she said).

That's that, it's off my chest. Que sera sera.

It will work out sooner or later, perhaps not well financially but emotionally.

So thoughtful of your son! I am sorry that you will have to wait for your daughter to come around.

Greetings friends

Well if I am ever first to post then the world may have ended as I would be the last to know out here in the middle of nowhere.

Shel you and Ann have fun and don't get into too much trouble. (or don't get caught).

Joey, you are right, you can't always change what people think or do so what will be will be. Sounds like this will all just take some time.

Not much new here. Gallery duty this afternoon and DH is at the dentist. Old dog is declining and we are worried. We have to carry her outside and pick her up to put her on her bed and remind her to drink water.

Gallery board meeting tonight which usually ends up being a wine and cheese party.

A sunny day here and fairly warm temperatures expected - like in the 70's . Should be good for gallery business.

Oh Diane, I remember that with our last beagle (she died just before she turned 17). So heartbreaking especially because they stay so sweet.

I'm sorry about the Old gal's (a girl, right?) decline. I know she is comforted by your love and care.

I'm with you Shel: We can't have too many puppies!

Weight ? (Scale free on Friday then blocked again for a couple of days), calories 1150. It was a LONG day in the office after being out later than usual on a "school" night. DH, DSD and I went to the Alzheimer's support group last night then out to dinner. In bed at 9:30 pm and up at 4:15 am is difficult for me. Tonight I have my monthly in person WLS support group.

DH has had a good time with DSD being here since Sunday - lots of walks and they went to the beach today.

I hope you all had a good day - I'm going to read the other posts now that I have a minute.
