I had forgotten that very early stage of baby bird! What fun to watch. Their mother must feel very comfortable with you and DH

I agree with Devon, but I would guess they get feathers pretty quickly?

According to this site, they put on feathers within 5 days.

Good pix there.

Glad you had a fun time with the OH bunch. I met a large group of OHers at a meet up in 2012. Formed some very nice friendships that way. A bunch of us got together every month for maybe two years, had dinner and went to Dr. C's support group. Was a really nice way of staying connected.

Weight continues to dance in my little two pound range. Friday was a low, today is up again. Had a difficult, but wonderful, workout on Friday and am sore as the dickens - but not where I thought I would be. I thought my abs would be killing me, but it's my pecs and quads that are sore. I have decided I do not like slant board sit ups with a 3 count hold at the top! 15 and I'm DONE! Can't even do 15 on the second set without a break. LOL! Third set, well... I made it to 8, then 10, then 12, then pushed like hell to get to 15.

Pups are all doing well and growing quickly. Must post pics. Sorry!

Gotta run!!!!!!! Busy day ahead.

Not my fave either, but I will push myself for a strong "core". I figure if I keep my back, core and legs strong as I age I will be much better off. My goal was to be able to get off the floor from a complete flat on my back position without putting my hands on the floor or on my legs to get back to a fully standing upright position. Now, my goal is to maintain that ability as far into the future as possible.

Greetings Traveling Maintainers

Seems to be the season for travel and parties. Liz, love the picture. I count at least three pair of white pants! We never wore those in the fat days. Well I still don't but thats because I am like pigpen and go around in a cloud of dust.

Still at 136 today after a nice steak dinner last night. More for tonight.

What fun you will have meeting up in Vancouver. Can't wait to hear about it. Thats the time we go to southern Cal.

Baby wrens are cute! They sort of look like little dinosaurs. I wish you could put out something for their mother to feed them but they probably eat worms. High protein, low cal. We have nests of barn swallows at the studio out in the kiln yard. One nest is about 4 feet from the kiln chimney and I can't believe its not too hot there but they come back yearly. I used to love to watch the nesting eagle cam but they didn't return this year.

Well today's exercise will be power lifting Scrabble tiles. A fun afternoon with old friends. Well, not all of them are old, but some of us are. Time to eat yogurt. Diane S
