Happy Independence Day in the US! It seems strange to have the holiday on a Tuesday, but the weather is supposed to be great, so that's good.

Weight 117.5, calories 1626. Another cookout led to being up 2.25 pounds in a day. I do hate those extreme increases.

Back to the office tomorrow to discuss transition with the Business Analyst who is retiring. Since her role is being transferred to another group at the end of July I don't know who it will transition to, but I can't tell her that because it can't be disclosed until formally announced. I'm really tired of the corporate games and probably will get more vocal about it now that I have gone public with retirement.

Enjoy the holiday!

Happy Fourth!

The big news........my daughter has been hired at Starbucks! She starts in a couple of weeks. From all accounts, they are a good employer, particularly for students. Lots of excitement in the house, it is a new adventure for her.

My neighborhood is hopping on the fourth. It is the one day of the year where most of us stay home and hang out in front of our houses. There will be food, drink, and illegal fireworks. Those three things have little appeal to me but i do like the people. I'm planning to have a hot dog today.

I am a little afraid to push submit.....Liz has an extra post showing this morning that I am sure is not her fault. OH is keeping things interesting.

Protect the skinny!

Shel

Greetings My Fellow Americans and Canadians

Happy 4th to all. Keep it safe and skinny.

134.5 today. Guess I wore off some weight tour guiding yesterday. Its foggy this morning so not sure what we will do. Maybe a local festival.

Everyone else is awake but I need more coffee. Gotta go.

Diane S

Congrats Shel on DD's job. Good place to start in the working world.

Weight same today as yesterday.

I got some trimming accomplished on Blue in the afternoon after my client dog and before going to my mental health appointment (aka "the shrink") at 4:00. Followed that up with a great workout yesterday evening. Food was on point and I did track macros and calories yesterday.

Hit the Rotary Club's annual pancake breakfast with my pop, brother, Ron and BF. I had 2 sausages and I had one pancake. Interestingly, the pancake did not trigger me. I was leery of eating something processed and sugary that early in the day, but ate one sausage first and then alternately ate the remaining sausage with the pancake. It was easy to stop eating. One more point for Vyvanse, I'd say!

Burgers on the grill, fresh corn on the cob, and salad for dinner. Ron has not said anything about dessert, so I'm just going to let it ride.

Happy 4th everyone and Happy Birthday, Linda!

Good for you with the pancake! I think it would be a trigger for me.
