July 1st, Saturday !!
Second pay period with no appreciable pay sheet to submit !! I can actually live on my retirement income, and I am LOVING retirement. Settling into one home, while packing up another three hours away is a bit stressful, as I live by organization and knowing where everything is. Not so much right now.
DD's are adjusting to the idea of my move. DD #1, Physicist, will be in Denmark all summer, and Pharmacist will be in Brooklyn another year. My parents retired to SC when I was 30, stating that they couldn't make decisions about their location based on where the four of us kids may or may not be. At the time, I hated that they moved so far away, but I'm starting to get it now.
