Weight 118.2, so still hovering in the same location for the last week. We won't go out as much for our last 4 days as all our company is gone after today. The boys left yesterday but not a smooth flight for them: Their 4 pm flight didn't leave until 7:30 and they had to connect through JFK to Boston. It looks like they probably didn't get to Boston until 2 am. DS has to work today so he will be tired - good thing he is young! SIL leaves mid-day today.

Here is a nice pic of DS and DH:

Oh, Liz! The love in that photo! I have so enjoyed your family / holiday pix. It's been a little Aruba vacay for me, too. :)

My knee feels so much better. Protip: Aquarobics yesterday morning helped a lot!

Today will be full of mowing, gardening, housework. It's an astonishingly beautiful day here.

Hubby is going to conduct a science experiment: He is going to alternate days on digoxin. We'll collect data. The Interwebz indicate it's not a dangerous thing to try. Shel, please chime up if you think / know different.

Breathing here.

No kidding! Seriously, I could feel the knee healing itself.

I am glad that knee is feeling better! But do take it easy.

About the dig, there are people out there that always take digoxin every other day but they have low renal function so they don't clear it very well. Their serum levels are still in therapeutic range.

People do all sorts of interesting things with their medication, but there is a special shiver that goes down my spine when someone says they are experimenting with a drug that works on the heart's rhythm. Of course, I don't know DH at all so this is all just general statements about digoxin.

Could you call the office on Monday, say DH is at his wits end and this is what he is doing? Perhaps that would force the doc to come up with an alternative even if the alternative is not replacing it with anything. Maybe the doc would say it is ok to go off entirely a week or two to see if symptoms clear.

Best wishes, no matter what you and DH decide. It is very much a personal decision, always.

Greetings Deep Breathers

Looks like a mellow day for all. 136 here. Taccitos for dinner are not so good but DH loves them and I worked at the gallery kind of late because people came in right at 6. Bought my art though.

Yes Liz, we are all enjoying your pictures and vacation. Lots of tourists around here because people are fleeing the inland heat. Good for the galleries.

Ann don't overdo it. Protect that knee. I want to go to water aerobics but don't like the times they have it. Too early for this slug.

A friend is coming over this afternoon to have DH work on her computer. They both get very angry at inanimate objects and my friend emotes constantly about this stuff so should be interesting. I must remember to breathe. I actually installed a new longer monitor cable on our gallery computer as the old one had kinked. Was pretty proud of myself since I am not good at this. Sounds simple but there are a zillion devices connected for pin reader, music, printers and such and a huge wad of black spaghetti wiring running through inaccessible places requiring crawling on the floor. Not user friendly. Put in "stress eliminators" that keep the wires from being pulled and kinked. Wish there was such a thing for real life.

Well the breeder of my dog finished the championship on her dog at the same shows where Devon is. This dog is named Logo and will probably be Tesla's husband someday.

Breathe indeed. Diane S

Diane, I think those doggie relationships ought to qualify you and Devon as at least cousins. What a small world the doggie planet is.
