I didn't sleep much last night so I'm very tired. We were on alert for tropical storm Bret but it dissipated last night. There are supposed to be a few showers but nothing so far - it is just windier than usual (as it was yesterday).

We had a fantastic meal out last night (lots of leftovers). Weight 118.

Not much sleep for me either. I had to sleep on my back due to getting my Dysport yesterday so that impeded a good night's sleep.

Work today with Mammogram over my lunch hour. This will be my first one since getting implants and having my defibrillator moved under the breast tissue. Might be interesting!

Happy Hump Day my friends!

Paula

Sorry to be nosy, but since you mentioned it, what do you get the dysport for?

Dysport is like Botox. I get it around my eyes and between eyebrows for smile/frown lines. Works by paralyzing the muscles underneath and works for 2-3 months. Vanity at its best!

I see PS for a 6 month follow-up in July. I think I'll ask him about it.

So I was looking at OH groups. This group has 1512 members: Some of you who haven't yet should join in!

Good morning,

Liz, your group is full of attractive people! And those chefs must really take care of themselves to balance their love of food and still stay fit. Good for them. (This is the only forum in the world where I would comment on weight.)

Paula, that does sound like an action packed mammo!

Ann, hope your procedure goes well. As my grandma would say, don't borrow trouble. Besides the stats you were quoted, your providers haven't seen need to move the process along more quickly.

Devon, I'm not sure it is on this board, yet, but congratulations on your two litters that are coming! Sounds like the average is going to be just right. Let's get a puppy cam set up right now.

Hey, there's a thought! If I streamed my refrigerator, would I be too embarrassed to access it repeatedly (!) at night? I bet I would. Esp if I knew my mother was watching Shel's Fridge Cam.

Joey, will you get the same snarky judge when you go back to court?

BB, you are (overall) doing so well! Don't you feel you cracked a bit of code over the last year?

DianeS, thanks for being the anchor here. Your chill observations are so on-point, as the kids say.

DianeO, speaking of cracked the code....love your vibe. Maybe you can start a guided meditation podcast in your retirement?

Dave and Linda, so happy happy happy when you are able to stop in.

Oh! Tink! They couldn't find anything wrong with leg. Labwork sent off. They wonder if it is neurological. (I wonder if it is something terrible like a dog version of MS) She is quite a bit better today.

Behave like a skinny chef today,

Shel

Thanks Shel. My DS does have to diet periodically to lose about 20 pounds or so but he is usually pretty good about it. His BF (pastry chef) apparently was about 150 pounds overweight in his late teens, but lost it all in his early 20s (diet and exercise). He watches every calorie to keep it off (age 26 now)!

Devon, so exciting about the puppies! Sounds like one huge litter and the possibility of another singleton?

That's so awesome that the BF lost so much weight via diet / exercise. I am happy it works for some people. God knows, I tried that many times, but just couldn't click into maintenance. But boy, do I understand now how maintenance works (for me): eternal vigilance and my precious sleeve. :)
