Wednesday June 14

204.8. Today is a good day, because my worries today are only about money. I sensed trouble with my ex paying without another fight and I was somewhat correct. His new wife is apparently very angry and says "there will be no money forthcoming" until they receive the "official" Order in the mail. No big deal, it's only money, I can wait.

My daughter was discharged from the hospital, but they moved her dialysis to 10 a.m. so she had to miss my older grandson's class party. My son and I were on standby but my grandson was super worried we would forget, even though I tried to reassure him that we would be there. He called at 6 this morning to remind me. There were very few parents there and no activities. The kids just ran around the playground, but he was so happy we were there. My son was annoyed, because it was weird, pretty far with limited gasoline and toll money, but mostly because it was ... weird. I pointed out how happy my grandson was to see us, so it was fine. I think my son was more upset by watching the dynamic of the kids playing, you could clearly see who the bullies and troublemakers were. Some of the boys would not let my grandson sit with them, but thank God and everything holy that another boy called him over to sit with them.

Flag Day is also my son-in-law's birthday. We usually hit an awesome pizza place, but we live at the Shore and it is Summer, so even if I had money, it would be difficult. I am going to suggest that my daughter whip up a meatloaf, I'll pick up a Costco cake and we'll celebrate more on the weekend. (The cake will stay at her house for the boys. I know she will not touch it, or I would not leave it there.)

So glad you are having a good day Joey. You deserve it.

All this talk about pizza is putting bad thoughts in my head. Thats probably the thing I miss the most and have a slice once every few months. I like veggie pizza very thin - Papa Murphy's makes an awesome one. Diane S
