Happy Flag Day (in the US)!
Weight 115.25, calories 1532. We walked the beach a couple of times and went into town to walk on the piers. We always forget how HOT it is here away from the beach, so we were glad to get back afterwards. I had the first pizza in 1.5 years and it was GOOD! I only ate the top though (Hawaiian pizza) and just ate until I felt that full sensation, so I felt like I did pretty well. LOTS for DH to have for leftover though (maybe tomorrow night after our friend leaves).
Have a wonderful day!

Enjoying the heat vicariously! Thanks.
well confession time. For some no good not a bit hungry reason I nibbled my way through 2 CUPS of chocolate chips. Why? Of course I felt/ feel sick and full of not only the chips but also remorse.
And all was well until 10 pm.
today is a new day and life will go on.
ever onwards. Rightð?'
It's the almonds that call to me these days: 2+ ounces yesterday

Wow Liz--first pizza in 1 1/2 years?! Omg. DH and I definitely like our pizza. And I'll admit I eat it, crust and all. Earlier on 1 piece was A LOT. Then I started getting to where I wanted closer to 2. Now I'm trying to reel it back in and eat just 1 if it's a bigger piece (2 if it's thin crust and few toppings). In fact, we had a Hawaiian pizza Saturday night. I had just one piece (it was a deep dish style, though). And enjoyed the heck out of it. And said aloud "I'm as satisfied as if I ate 3 pieces".
Flag Day! I never forget it because it is my parents' anniversary! Happy 32nd anniversary mom and dad!
Weight was down again today! I'm scared to get too excited--normally this meas to prepare for a large shift the other direction. But 152--quite exhilarating. I haven't been to the gym in nearly a week so I'm also worried that's the reason.
Shocked that scale is down because I've been feeling so crummy with this sinus infection that the only thing that sounds good to eat is crap. Lots of carb crap. I primarily sustained myself on cheese-its yesterday. And hubby ordered pasta for dinner and I had a cookie. Definitely not one of my "everything in moderation days"
Hopefully you weight will stay down once you feel better and are back to exercising!

Good morning!
I am back to a normal work schedule, darn it. And, it is dance recital week. I'm trying not to complain about that because this is the last time that I am needed for preparations. Next time, DD will be able to drive herself. That transition is second only to DD being able to put her hair into a bun all by herself.
DH announced that he wants to do a short hike on Father's day but he reserves the right to change his mind. I'm trying to find something that is short with little to no elevation, yet interesting, and not too far away. I am sure the right hike is out there.
I was way too grazey on my multiple days off. Yesterday it was very hard to stick to structured meals/snacks. But, I did it because I don't keep extra food at work. Evening time at home was another story.
Liz, I am loving Aruba. Carbon, thank you for your chocolate chip story. We are only human. BB, exciting about the scale. Devon, sorry about J's foxtail wound!
Kindness and peace,
Shel

Greetings Sunny People
135.5 today. Its sunny here and we are all enjoying the sun of Aruba. Love the wildlife pics Liz.
Chocolate chips Carbon! Thats another one of those flying foods. Used to fly into my basket at the grocery store. But be assured that every day is a new start.
Shel finding a short hike? I have to do that when my brother and his wife come to visit. She can't walk very far.
Have to go to the bank and wire money for my mom's bills. Her trust company let her bill account get low and bill is due on her facility. My mom's condition is really sliding. She can hardly keep her eyes open and is now losing the use of arms and hands. Legs went years ago. She sleeps much of the time. Dreadful Parkinson's disease.
Joey sorry your ex is being a jerk. Winning in court is only half the battle, sadly. Hope he caves in soon. And darn those kitchen appliances.
Devon hug that doggie for me.
Well off to the bank and then back to try to move some money around for Mom. Then its the personal trainer at 1:30

So sorry about your Mom Diane. Even when we know it is inevitable it is tough.

I am sorry about your mom and Parkinson's. It is indeed dreadful.
Yes, a short, easy hike to help DH ease back into it, if he wishes. Hiking and camping-light used to be something we both enjoyed before I got too big. Now he is the one out of condition but not severely so. Maybe this is a way to help tho he isn't a person to be active for the sake of improving condition. So, the hike must entertain, not be overly strenuous.
Speaking of activity, I'm listening to Brain Rules on Audible. It was a book that DD had to read for school this year about how to keep your brain healthy for optimum performance now and for the long term. The author claims he only cites evidence based information that has been replicated. The first chapter was on exercise...."activity is candy for the brain."
