Greetings

Ok I have finally done it. Have an appointment with a personal trainer tomorrow to help me work out a weight routine that I can do with my gimpy hands. More likely machines than free weights.

Anyway I am so devious. My annual physical with my doctor is tomorrow and he will rag on me about exercise. So I will tell him "Why doctor, I have a personal trainer appointment". We shall see if it works out but I have been meaning to do this and the appointment made me do it. Diane S

To be completely indelicate **** YES! I'm proud of you. It's a hard commitment to make. Glad you bite the bullet and started. How did it go today?????

Thanks for the encouragement all. I used to be a total butterball but now I am a limp string bean. Since I am old I really need some strength but can't tolerate the killer stuff and never will. But this gym, which I get for free through medicare supplement, has water zumba and slow flow yoga and lots of stuff for old people. So I will not be dragging hundreds of pounds like Devon but will do something. I found that DH, who is not yet on medicare, can join for pretty cheap so may work on that.
