Weight 117.5, calories 1500 (or more). I grazed all day yesterday. It started out as a hungrier day than average which I'm used to and they usually average out, but I kept on eating when I shouldn't. I felt stressed and depressed but I'm not sure why and don't like how I reacted to that. I didn't even feel physically good (innards were rebelling), which is partially why the calories weren't higher (thank you sleeve).
Today is a new day, though I wi**** was going to be sunny out. I probably should have gone into the office but I'm feeling too tired to drive there and back today (definitely going in tomorrow).
Oh and MIL is back at home and on hospice. Her children are dealing well with it so far. The crunch will come sometime in the next few weeks (hopefully not while we are in Aruba (6/10-6/28).
Have a good day all!

I had a bad day for grazing, yesterday, too. Yes, new day!!!!! Got some stuff going on but should be smoother sailing after today.
Didn't realize you have a fun trip coming up!!!!

Grazing was the name of the game for me too yesterday! Was it a full moon or something????
138.4 I think on the scale today. I have been a prolific pooper the last 24 hours so maybe tomorrow's scale will be a little lower!
Day "off" today. Lab work this morning, took DS#2 in to get braces off, he wants to "do lunch" - maybe sushi, will try and put garden in and then go car shopping for DS#2. So much for it being a day off! Lol! I know my time is limited with my older two and if one requests date with Mom, I'm not going to refuse!
Liz, Aruba (or anywhere with a lot of sun and blue waters) sounds divine!

Greetings FORMER Grazers
Seems like grazing was the theme of the day. I managed to not do much of that since I was out and about a lot. Still 135.5. Its finally warm enough here for summer night shirts instead of granny flannels.
Liz, sounds like Aruba is just what you need - some well deserved R and R.
Actually everyone but me deserves some R and R. I certainly do stuff but nothing like you working moms. My mom is kind of beyond me visiting her doing either of us any good so I doubt I will go bac****il she passes. Accepting that has given me some peace.
Gallery duty this afternoon but its a nice day so maybe will get some traffic. Otherwise, its sweep the floor and walk in circles.
DH got some heathers planted and holes dug for other stuff. I got the yellow submarine sculpture out of the kiln. Came out fine. Will try to post a picture.
Not much else going on here. Had a nice steak dinner last night with asparagus. I bought some frozen seared Ahi that we will try tonight. May have to cook it more to suit DH.
Relax all. Diane S
Hmm Grazing, that's definitely me
Weight this am was 154.8--at least back down from a couple days ago. I'm okay with that for now. My lowest weight a year ago was 154.8, but on May 25, it was actually 156. I'm a little disappointed that I'm not technically lower than last year. But I know I have done it right this time, and I'm sure I'm "leaner" and will continue doing what I'm doing...right after I get back from Mexico!

Amen to everything y'all are doing so right: Going to Aruba, spending time with pre-launched kids, celebrating annual victories, doing yard work, walking in galleries, etc.
I enjoyed bits of that today -- went to yoga, had pedicures and luncheon with sister and niece, had young men cut timber for us (we're now calling them our "hired grandsons"), and fantasizing with hubby about possible future trips.
AND ... we have devised a new, welcome addition to our daily routine: Following our afternoon fika with coffee, biscotti and crosswords, we now move to the porch to enjoy our new "****tail hour" -- my pre-dinner 5 ounces of chardonnay and hubby's 12 ounces of dark beer. He's not much of a drinker, but lately he's enjoying the daily ceremony and debrief together. Currently, life is pretty good in Retirement Land. ;)
Gratitude.
