The excitement in this quiet area is Joseph Samuel who was born yesterday. We are caring for his brother (age two) and so far he does not seem to be impressed. The baby is gorgeous and we have lost our hearts.
Food great, but only walked for 45 minutes.
Enjoy this end of the week.
A new baby! How wonderful!
Weight 116, calories 924.
WFH this morning until 10:30, then I'm off for the weekend. The weather has been around 80 on Cape Cod for the last couple of days (90s in Boston). It is supposed to cool down 10-20 degrees for the weekend but still be nice. I have the windows and doors open in the sunroom this morning and the puppy and I are listening to the owls and the awakening birds at 5 am.
Unfortunately MIL (97) is not doing well so I'll be going with DH and SIL to see her today (another 3 hour round-trip drive). DH was very distraught about it yesterday. He gets very emotional these days and fixated when he thinks something needs to be done, so he really needs to see her.
Enjoy your Friday!

Carbon -- congrats on the arrival of Joseph Samuel! Liz, I can hear your owls from here; safe travels today.
Here we're up VERY early this morning, thanks to tornado and high wind warnings. All clear now.
This week was a good eating, exercise and weight week. Still doing enough. :)

Liz, I have to admit, every time you write WFH, I'm trying to figure out a variation of WTF then it dawns on me that you are not cussing at all!
Ann, great job on doing enough this week. Wi**** were the same for me but I guess not enough to actually DO enough!
Early work day today. Gotta fly!

LOL! Sometimes WFH feels like WTF!
Edit: 10 years ago I would have no idea what I just wrote meant!

Carbon, enjoy the new baby Joseph Samuel. I love the way they smell. We did foster care for a while. Got in a young sibling group and lost our hearts. Ended with us adopting them after parental rights were terminated.

Steps: Getting the tractor back together again. Hit a rock and broke the bolt that holds the blade one. Then got a flat. Still building a dust collection for all the saws.
More later, David

Dave, that is HUGE! Much bigger than I imagined from your descriptive posts about what you're doing there.
