Joey, congrats on the lower weight. Whatever you're doing to cause that is working. :)

I think I've mentioned my desire to eat mostly meat and fruit. Last night when it came time to make my lunch I thought I'd just have a yogurt with berries and an apple. Sounded fine last night. This morning something grabbed me in the gut and decided that wasn't going to work. "Meat," it said. "You must have meat." Luckily, I had roast chicken in the fridge. I ripped off a hunk of breast, threw it in a baggie and all was well in my world. Weird how our brains work in regard to food.
I had another bout of before bedtime eating urges last night. These urges are genuine - dysfunctional, sure, but genuine. LOL! My internal logic ruled the moment, but it was a little harder last night than the few nights previously. The fridge doors were already swung open when I decided to focus on feeling the signals from my sleeve. I closed the fridge doors and just spent a moment feeling my sleeve and my esophageal sphincter. My stomach cued me that nothing was needed. I walked away feeling a little victorious.
Have a DMV appointment this afternoon (YUCK) and a fairly busy weekend ahead, but with enjoyable things planned in addition to dog trimming.
Here's to us all getting some rest and rejuvenation!
I was looking at yesterdays date and thought it was the 4th. Then I noticed the month. I think time is moving faster.
Wt 218 up a pound.
Grazing today because in my mind I needed it because I was getting a good workout. Wood cutting therapy. Storms blew down a 24" diameter at the base hickory tree at the back of the yard. I think I am going to cut most of it for fire wood. There is a creek on the property and a cluster of 5 or 6 river birch washed out into the creek. They will be hard to get to but they are big enough for lumber. I need a solar kiln. I will find something else to do tomorrow. I can't handle 2 days in a row of chainsawing.
More later, David
