Lol I just noticed that yesterday's thread said April 4th!

Up a pound. Busy day yesterday. Used the excuse of a still swollen PS arm to not exercise, not sure if it was a valid one or not. It is uncomfortable. Have it wrapped today.

In to work early again. I hate these getting up at 4:30 am days!

More later,

Paula

I didn't notice the April date yesterday until you pointed it out!

How do I spell EXHAUSTED!!!!! My flight was delayed last night so I didn't get to bed until 3 am. I was up at 6 am as we have to go to Boston for the in person pre-screen for the clinical trial DH may be in.

Weight 114.5, calories 1632. I don't know why my weight is that low, but I'll take it right now. I can't wait to get to a normal cycle but I dread having to deal with my work email. I did check it periodically but there was so much stuff I couldn't read and respond to without a lot of time that I'm leaving it until Monday.

Have a great Cinco de Mayo (I think Taco Salad may be needed for dinner)!

Good morning

Paula and Liz am tired on your behalf. Wow!

well the lawn mower incident turned out to be a sweet gesture by a brother of the owner. Parents had gone out for the evening, brother was visiting and got bored. ( he lives waaaaaaay up north with kilometres between neighbours). Never thinking he had the brilliant idea of helping his family. All is forgiven as he came around to all of us asking for the same.

Poor food day and only walked for an hour!!!

today is Friday, still in the month of May. Have a happy day.

Nice that the fellow understood the error of his choice. It was a nice gesture to apologize. I take back my suggestion of a 2 x 4 upside the head!

Yes, definitely good of him to apologize (and nice gesture to mow their lawn).

Another drive by post. 118 which is a big yuck for me. That's my red zone number but I can't seem to get the motivation in place to take this more seriously. Not today anyway. Not real sure what's going on emotionally for me but there's an underlying discomfort that I'm soothing with food and sometimes with wine. For now, I'm merely observing, but action must come in time.

Greetings Faithful Ones

Liz and Paula hope some rest days come soon! Ditto Joey and all of you with mega responsibilities.

135 today which is a zero change. Works for me.

Rain is back and its windy too. Does not bode well for our Art Night at the gallery. I bought all the food yesterday and probably there will be too much. I hereby declare I am not touching one tortilla chip.

Since its a gloomy day I sort of feel like going back to bed. But of course the puppy is all wound up from not being outside much so gotta keep her occupied. Perfect day for me to go through papers and sort and toss so guess thats what I'll do besides gather up all the art night stuff How did I ever hold down a full time job?

Well not much else going on. Glad the lawn mower man apologized. Even so, who the heck mows the lawn in the dark!!

Blessings. Diane S

204.0 (down another .8 and keeping track of the tenths again). My spinach to chicken salad ratio was off today - too much spinach for the last chicken salad container, so I microwaved the spinach down. The hot spinach was so much better with the chicken salad. Who knew? Glad I figured it out because I enjoyed lunch today, but sad that it took me so long. I microwaved the spinach after it froze early this week, but only enough to defrost it. Oh well, it was not good enough to buy more chicken salad containers.

I forgot that I allowed my daughter to use one of the emergency checks I gave her to buy groceries last week before she went into the hospital. She never told me that she spent $151! At the time, I'm sure I thought she was only buying milk, eggs, bread, pb, jelly... y'know emergency supplies. Pffft, I am almost overdrawn for the weekend. Luckily, I have a second job available to me that I can work this weekend to get me to next payday. And good news, she has been discharged from the hospital. The boys wanted to stay with me another night so of course I said yes.

My cousin picked up my son today to take him to bingo with her. They both used to go with my aunt and mom until about a month before my mom died. He is very happy to be going back and I could not thank my cousin enough for her thoughtfulness.

I am reading (listening on librovox.org during my commute) the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin which is extremely interesting to me. I printed a copy of his 13 virtues and have it hanging in my office cubicle and thought it might be interesting to you guys who unlike me, may remember it from school... http://www.thirteenvirtues.com/

I am linked to my children's bank accounts so it they need an emergency cash infusion I can transfer it to them. That way I know how much and can do it at any time if necessary (hopefully not too often). Like you, Joey, I was helping support (literally) my oldest daughter when she was sick (but banks weren't really online back then).
