well happy Tuesday everyone. It is 12:30am and am bright eyed and bushy tailed. Very annoying.

Kairk hope that the meds work. Dave what is a swarm trap? A few years ago we baby- sat a hive. The owner had 45 hives and 44 of them were in the bush in the hinterlands. Ours was the only one that a bear smashed to smithereens.

Back on track food wise ( the vat of chocolate was removed to the shed, have noticed a lot of foot traffic in that direction ) but not much walking.

We are overcomers! Ever onwards!

I wonder if counting bees can be substituted for counting sheep ? I'm allergic to bees, and may as well be allergic to chocolate, the way it triggers me. At least plain milk chocolate tastes just awful to me now... it has to be 85% or more caco to sit well.

I am taking a Reiki Master Teacher refresher, to enhance and elevate my practice. It is five hours a Sunday, for five months. This month, we are working on moving our ability to send distance Reiki to the next level. If you are interested in having some Reiki sent , please PM me. I'd be happy to send a mini treatment to be used in whatever way your mind, body, spirit choose to take it in, or feel free to specify an area of need/focus. Often, when you remain open to receiving Reiki where it is needed, foundational issues you may not consciously aware of, can be addressed.

Have a balanced, blessed day !

A swarm trap is a box that is made to lure bees in so you can put them into a regular hive. Bees naturally swarm. I am just taking advantage of that. I put lemon grass oil as a lure. I got them down out of the tree last night. will suit up and take them over to DS#1 yard to let them adjust then bring them back. I am getting a late start on the day. Oversleeping doesn't happen often.

Weight: 154.6, Calories: 1497, Exercise: horrible, awful leg workout, approx. 240 cals burned

Calories were a little high. And not the best choices. Isn't it funny what can bother you and what doesn't? Like I have full sized candy bars leftover from Halloween and sitting in the movie room, but I generally don't touch them. Or some little drumstick mini ice creams. They were freezer burned! But then I get granola bars and I could easily put away 3 (@ 100 each) and yet feel less satisfied than with a snickers but they're probably about equally nutrient free.

Workout yesterday was awful. Our trainer wanted to meet 30 min. early because he needed to pick up his kids. Cool. Except he also apparently decided to speed through the workout hoping we'd exhaust and he'd get off early. He succeeded. He pushed me WAY too far on the first exercise and therefore verything else suffered. I wanted to cry and moan and roll around on the floor. Seriously. I knew it was pathetic but I felt pathetic. And exhausted. And like I've made no progress. :(

You are not pathetic, the trainer is. It would have been better for him to reschedule than to sabotage your workout. Some people do not go back after an experience like that.

Thank you, Joey! I'm more of a complainer/give-uper when it comes to physical things, which is one of the reasons this working out experience has been awesome. I've actually pushed myself, and I thought my trainer has been very helpful in that. However, he definitely pushed too hard yesterday. Maybe it's just because I've been struggling all week with my workouts, mentally and physically. But I really needed to feel accomplished yesterday. Instead I felt totally defeated.

I am so not a fan of that type of workout. It's really counter productive in the early stages of learning to workout. Pushing a beginning client so hard that the lactic acid makes the client ill, coupled with a lack of oxygen to the body, is a set up for self doubt and failure on several levels.

If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest you consider a trainer who understands functional fitness. You will find that trainers who work with this methodology focus on ALL major muscle groups in a single workout, which lasts about 30 - 45 minutes. You will be doing HIIT with this kind of work out, but I think you will find it much more effective than what you are describing now.

If you would like more info, let me know. I can refer you to some different sites that explain the science and benefits of this exercise philosophy.

Ouch! Glad I have off today. Hurting from PS revision in the arm. Boobs don't feel too bad. Lots of swelling in the arm too. Weight up 3 lbs. bit I know it is from the swelling so I'm not going to freak about it. Eating was good yesterday.

Will take it easy today and rest up. I need it after the weekend where I only got 5-6 hours each night!

207. Decided to mix a tuna packet with baby spinach for lunch today. I forgot about the Secretary's Day luncheon the firm is throwing today (I know the name has changed, but I embrace the title of secretary). There will be lots of healthy choices for me, so I am not concerned.

I was hoping to stop in at Costco on my way home, and just decided I WILL stop at Costco to pick up lunch supplies - more spinach, asparagus, sweet peppers and roast turkey lunchmeat.

My son and I are attending a fundraiser at a local bar tonight for a childhood neighbor who has stage 4 cancer. My childhood neighborhood was a family, we celebrated every holiday together, our mothers had card club and all of our parents bowled together in leagues. It will be nice to see everyone but a sad occasion. I am not concerned about my choices tonight. My son and I have each other's backs when we eat outside the home, and this is an occasion to cherish health and be even more mindful.
