Sunday April 23
Up a pound - gosh darn it! Not warranted either by my food intake, so I'm guessing it's water helping my muscles heal from Friday.
Boy, oh boy am I SORE! Not the I can't move sore, but the OMG this was a workout from hell and even my regularly worked muscles got a push. My triceps, pecs-lower and upper, shoulders, traps, lats, abs-sternum to groin, and hamstrings are all feeling it today.
Have two dogs to trim this morning then the afternoon is free. Will get some shopping done, eggs cooked, and I need to make yogurt.
BED or not, need to get on the WL wagon this week.
Greetings Maintenance Freaks
Remember when being a something freak used to mean sort of a fanatic? Well we are not fanatics but sure need a high level of dedication. I didn't eat anything off plan but still at 135 (pre poop). Made a roasted pork tenderloin with roasted carrots. Overcooked a little but tasted good. Dogs thought so too.
Yeah, old dogs are a joy but work. We often have to clean up our old dog's "accidents" and I have dog bedding to wash today. She will be 16 in three weeks.
Why can't I be like our young dog and be busy and happy all the time with a squeak toy and self regulate eating and stay at the perfect weight.
Well we got out some of the deck planters and cleaned them up and bought plants yesterday. Today they get planted. It will be nice to have some flowers about. Gotta pick up some heathers at the farmer's market.
Liz glad the museum was fun. Paula hope the visiting deserts don't get to be an issue for you. Shel your visit from Peace Corps friends sounds like fun. Congrats to your friend on awards. Good teachers are priceless. (this means you too Devon).
Well time for more coffee and reading the Sunday paper. Peace indeed. Diane S
