Oh Joey, I am so sorry for all the yuck in your life right now. Kudos to you for resisting the poor food choices through it all. I pray that your daughter is on a road to recovery soon. I'm not sure how you do it, but you are one strong woman!

Greetings Determined Ones

Well thats what Frisco says it takes to maintain. Determination. We all have it as demonstrated by other aspects of our lives and can make it work here too. So there.

134.5-ish today so I'll take that. Dog show chicken nugget weight gone.

Well Liz, hope new work schedule is going ok. Don't ya hate being stuck in traffic.

Paula have a great scrap book weekend. It will be good for you. My SIL had a ton of scrapbook supplies which I gave away to this craft non profit store when she died. Cool stuff - all these interesting scissors and such.

Well Shel, so we should curate our lives. Not sure what that means besides taking selfies and scrap booking but sounds like a good thing. I have a lot of old pictures of my ski trip days and can't remember where they were. Only approximate year due to size of ski clothing whi*****reased over the years until I couldn't even fit into large mens stuff.

Joey your daughter's issues break my heart. Hugs. As to your annoying co worker, I suggest you get a whoopee cushion and stomp on it every time she yawns.

BB. Kairk is right, you are doing good for your body even if it doesn't register on the scale. Probably building some muscle. I am glad for you that you are getting into this as a former non exerciser.

Ann, why don't you guys get some goats to do all your mowing? The water district here has some so they don't have to mow the covered reservoir. Some world renowned goat cheese is manufactured here so lots of places now have goats to supply them. They have a herd too. I think you can actually rent a group of goats here to clean up messy areas. Maybe I should get some. Dogs would love it.

Devon, nothing like a fussy puppy at night. We used to dog sit a lot for friends but it got to be overwhelming.

Made a sort of abbreviated egg foo young with shrimp last night. Pretty good and easy. Stuffed with protein and bean sprouts.

Well here is wishing you all some sunshine. We have one more cloudy day today and then Here Comes The Sun. Cheers. Diane S

LOL! Goats! I just told hubby your suggestion, who said we'd have to build them fences. And water tanks. And have the vet come out and give them pap smears. And they would eat my hydrangeas and day lilies and irises and probably even those beautiful lilac bushes that smell so good even a half-witted goat would scarf them right down.

Yeah, easier said than done. They eat everything - even thorny bramble which people use them here to get rid of. D

Sheep are better! They leave the roots of the grass and they don't destroy all the bushes! We have a flock of sheep across the creek and path. They leave a lovely mowed pasture and only eat the delicate new leaves of the Blue Oaks. They leave everything else! And they are utterly charming! Last night a sheep was bleating for about 2 hours. I'm expecting to see new lambs when I get home today. YAY!
