Maintenance seems to be around 1500-1700. I've been dropping low on days when I can when I am > 115. In other words if I weigh 115 tomorrow morning, I'll probably eat around 1500 calories tomorrow. Regardless on weekends/when I go out to eat I am often 1800-2000, so try to go lower a bit on other days to average out.

Ah ok I understand now. It seems like all your days I notice are so low so I was just curious if you were going to be bumping that up at some point since you mentioned being happy at 115 "cinderella". But I understand. I definitely try to go lower on the weekdays...when I can, because I know I will invariably end up higher later on. I think my maintenance range is lower than the calculators would normally spit out. But still, now that I've been tracking, weighing, and cutting down/out most wine, not snacking, etc....and I'm still eating 1000-1200...it amazes me at how quickly those calories stack up.

Good morning! It's cloudy and overcast and threatening to rain again. This California boy is officially sick of the rain! I need me some sunshine!

I got a full 8 hours last night. Whoo hoo! I don't know if it's the med or simply that I'm not feeling depressed that is gifting me with such wonderful sleep, but I don't care from where this lovely benefit comes! I'm not waking up multiple times per night anymore. I got up once to let the pup out too pee, but that was it, and then right back to sleep. I am feeling a little low energy this morning. Hope I'm not coming down with something. Might just need a good cup of strong coffee.

Weight was down over 2 pounds today. I did not wear a compression wrap, but did poop 3 times yesterday. Go figure! food was very much on point yesterday, with the exception of a few bits of chocolate getting Hoovered in.

Gotta get packed up for the dog show. I want to leave some time around 1:00 or 1:30. Hopefully, I will run into Diane S and Tesla. I checked Border Terrier ring times so I will wander over there tomorrow afternoon and see what I can see!

Greetings Strong People

Songbird? No birds in this group. Have you ever seen a fat bird? (farm raised turkeys don't count). Guess we should all eat like birds. Anyone like worms?

Well 134.5 today. Like Devon, I am preparing to depart for the dog shows. So much crap to pack for 3 days with a 13 lb dog who is the center of the universe (appologies Sadie).

Paula so sorry everything i****ting you at once. Shel's comments were so sweet and so right on. Accept help from wherever it comes. People in your church will surely help you. Counseling sounds good. Do you have a "phone a friend" that you can call and let off steam? Spend time with that sweetie youngest son. We are all thinking of you and sending cyber hugs.

Well Devon our show time tomorrow is late (yay no crack of dawn) but we will get there earlier so Tesla can acclimate. So I will find you or vice versa. It will be fun.

BB I too miss casseroles - even more than sweets I think. No more mac and cheese for this chick. I do have the occasional tortilla with refried beans. I have made lasagne using thin sliced zucchini as noodles. Works pretty well.

Shel you should write an advice column . Your remarks are always so to the point and kind. Always look forward to your posts.

Well Dave, take a rest day. Those chores will wait.

Well off to finish packing. Strict orders that we leave at 1 and it takes awhile to get to the house of my cohort. She has a new white van. She calls it Vanna White.

Take care all. Diane S

I tried lasagna with zucchini and it was a soupy mess. But I've received some suggestions such as salting zucchini, or cooking it beforehand. And I have enjoyed spaghetti squash with meatsauce. Tbh, probably the biggest reason I don't do casseroles is simply because they "swell" in my sleeve...and then leave me famished an hour or so later. Maybe this was just a random one that worked--thin corn tortillas, meat and beans. But it was so so comforting and nice to come home after the gym to a cooked meal like that. It's undeniable casseroles lend themselves to make-ahead. But I'll be darned if I'm gonna spend an hour in the gym only to ruin the results with an unfilling stretchy casserole :(
