Greetings Maintenance Maniacs!

Well I'd say we are all doing pretty well considering what life throws at us everyday. I am at 134 which is not good but better than yesterday. Stir fry of chicken and veggies last night was good.

Congrats Liz on one year. Good job in losing and maintaining weight considering all the other stuff you have to do.

Paula glad you have a day off and DH has a new chemo plan. Enjoy day of shopping even if its for washer. Buy something fun for yourself.

Glad you insomniacs got some sleep. Keep it up.

Joey glad your son is cooking. That's a big relief when you have kids to cook for. Hope your daughter can come home soon.

Well the old dog just did 20 min on the doggie treadmill. Its sunny so the other two will probably get long outdoor walks.

My desk is exploding with tax papers and now I have to do a personal property tax return for the art gallery on 3 days notice. Fortunately I don't think its very hard. I can't believe how many calculations I have to go through to show we don't owe anything - calculations based on social security, capital gains and losses, art business deductions and on and on. Yeah I should get an accountant but I pride myself on being able to do this and getting the records together is the hardest part anyway.

Well I got a few steps in yesterday in spite of gallery duty. Mostly walking to the car which was parked some distance away.

Dave good on you for getting that bathroom done. Bet its great like all your other craftsmanship.

Devon I loved your description of the lambs and sheep frolicking in the pasture. Every day when I drive to the studio I pass a sheep pasture with lots of little lambs. All colors. It inspired me to do a sculpture of a border collie holding a black lamb and a white lamb. Its called "The Good Shepherd". There is also a big shaggy Scottish highland cow in that pasture. Maybe its a guard cow. I now think of it as Kaboom Boom.

No words of wisdom other than hang in there. Diane S

Well friends I just tried a new experiment. I usually add just a dab of honey to my GY each day so its not so tart. Out of honey so I mixed a half scoop of Spirituine protein powder (vanilla). It does have a sweetener but not too much and doesn't smell bad. My hubby likes it.

Well it wasn't horrible but it had the consistency of calk. I think its possible to come up with such a concoction that tastes better. Will experiment. Diane S
