135.6 I think. Lots of play watching and picture editing over the weekend
GI upset over the weekend too. Thinking it might be from the antibiotics I took for my ear. Will be taking in a stool sample to test for C diff. Oh joy!
Oncology appt. with DH this afternoon. Academic awards ceremony for DS#2 tonight.

203. Devon, if I do not prep my food for the week, Hungry Joe (google "Sleepy Carl") almost always goes to the deli downstairs and buys something for lunch that is off-plan and much more expensive than my usual sweet bell pepper and tuna packet. This knowledge has forced me to prep and with my life the way it's been, I keep 10-20 tuna packets in my cabinet at work.
I forgot about a birthday celebration at my office today, but luckily I am over-prepared. My boss got a fruit basket last week which enticed me to buy some pears. Instead of going into the celebration room, I sliced up one of my pears for after lunch. Decadent!
I had just told my aunt how much better my daughter has been, and my daughter called asking me to take her to the E.R. She had a virus or something that was making her vomit, which means she lost her blood pressure medication and other medications. Her blood sugars went wild. She took insulin to bring it down but was unable to eat, so her sugar went super low, she drank juice and it skyrocketed back up where it stayed. She was admitted to the hospital after the doctors determined that she was almost in ketoacidosis. She is currently in CCU, "sleeping and comfortable". My cousin is a nurse at the same hospital and checks in on her. Otherwise, I would probably be missing another day at work.
I brought the boys home before taking her to the hospital. They had dinner with my son and played age appropriate video games, my son is a stickler about that. Around 8 pm, I left my daughter in the E.R. to give the boys a bath and get them to bed. It was later than usual, so I was taking care of the dogs while the boys were still in the tub with the door open. On the way to their crates to go to bed, Johnny seemed to take one giant leap from the hallway right into the tub. He is half dachshund, half Jack Russell, so he is super strong and muscular with short legs. I lifted him sopping wet out of the tub and put him down in the hallway to towel him off, and the weasel gets out of the towel and runs by me and leaps right back into the tub. The boys and my son are hysterical laughing, I'm soaked, and John is happy as can be. Nobody got scratched or hurt, and this stupid little mistake will probably be one of their happiest childhood memories.
Love this!

Greetings Great People
Yuck, 134.5 today. I made a so called low cal pizza last night with turkey pepperoni and modest amount of cheese on a pre made thin crust. It was great but I guess my scale didn't think so. Today won't be good as its a gallery day. Dusting and walking in circles. At least the sun is out so we may get some visitors.
Gosh, seems like everyone has tummy flu or something. Take care. No time to be sick.
Joey, love the dog in the tub story. You are right it will be a fond memory for the kids. I remember our old ****er spaniel jumping into a trench filled with freshly poured cement! What a mess that was.
Devon wish you could rest some. When we got Chip as a puppy I used to let him crawl all over me on the sofa and then we would both nap. That was 10 years ago so I was a mountain for him. An ex pen or two in your room sounds like a good solution. We are lucky that turbo charged Tesla has always slept through the night in a crate with a snuggle safe. Good breeders.
Liz glad you got follow up on the clinical trials. Hope it works out.
Ann, I imagine your avatar, Marilyn Monroe, driving around farm tractors! Tee Tee.
Started doing the taxes yesterday. Its gonna be messy as DH made a couple of weird investments that have K-1's which just makes for more paper. A huge pile of papers only to show we owe no tax.
Well off to see the kiln results before gallery duty. Carry on my dear friends. Diane S
Taxes- yuck! The only thing worse is figuring out Medicare Part B...

LOL - I never had one so I have no basis for comparison!
