114.5, 938 calories. I didn't eat a lot yesterday because we were out all day and when I did it was fish. Keeping busy is always good.

We are having a good visit with DD. We went to Venice beach and ate at Sharkeys last night. This morning we are going to Yoga on the beach in Englewood. We need to leave early, but it will be very relaxing and we will probably hang around on the beach afterwards.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning

woke up, went to kitchen to get glass of water, enormous rat ran across the floor. Needless to say the whole house woke up.

traps are set. I truly hate rats. Still shaking.

a great walking day and some work in the garden. Food was ok. 1489 calories. Not all of them wise.

Rats - yuck! We had to have an exterminator get rid of them at MIL's summer place years ago. They had moved in off-season to have their babies. We had to bring in the kind of cleaners you use after catastrophi****urences to clean up after them. Nasty little things!

Liz-good on the low cals!

Carbon-ick, rats!

Calories:? Not too high. Burned: 320. Weight: 156 still

I did get in a 50 min. cardio session yesterday, burning about 320 calories. I think I may have pushed it. I felt ok then and at lunch where I had half a burger, but I couldn't have a drink before the escape room, and when they brought out cheese fries for the table I really thought I'd lose it. And spent all of the game just trying not to get sick :(

DSD was dropped off by her mom without any warning. DSD's mom just announced that she is getting married (again) and I guess DSD was giving her best impression of teenage brat. So we have a conflict. On the one hand, we don't want DSD to talk to us that way, or even her mom, really. On the other hand, it's understandable why she'd act up. Her mom has been divorced 3 times in 6 years, most recently THREE months ago, and this will be her 4th marriage. So I feel for the kid, I really do.

Between your exercise consistency and dedication and that nasty bug your scale has really dropped. Respect!

Really too bad about your DSD. That sounds crazy -- a mom who's been divorced 3 times in 6 years. I feel for the kid, too.

Happy Sunday!

125's. I have a working scale. I do like having a wi-fi scale, hopefully this one lasts a lot longer. I probably should have paid an extra few dollars for an extended warranty. Oh well, we will see what happens. It is a withings.

Besides the usual expected numbers, the scale flashed a picture of rain which surprised me. Is it telling me I should pee? Shed some weight you fat slob? Cry? Of course none of that, it was the forecast. How cool would it be to have a scale to tell you to "get back in bed", or "you need to have fun today" and then it would call your excuse into work for you.

I looked at other products on the website (sigh....on-line shopping) and they have a smart hair brush (!!!!!) that "empowers you to track and improve hair health over time." Zero temptation.

I walked to the grocery store yesterday whi*****luded a couple of big hills. But the physical activity was secondary to soaking up some much needed sun. So wonderful to hear birds in full song this morning.

Hug your health and skinny bum today,

Shel

Ace and I are watching the sheep frolic in the small pasture across the creek. Seriously, they are running and playing a game of chase! Looks like the lambs instigated the play, but the ewes and one yearly ram are running like mad sheep with the lambs!

Exciting news about the Parkinson's (possible Alzheimer's med). Would be so nice to see some real progress in those diseases!

Dog show grazing was non existent! I did eat chicken tenders for lunch, but that was only because I had to stay for owner handler group, which was not at all expected. I had planned to go home and eat lunch, so I didn't pack anything. Little Ace kicked some big dog butt. Diane S, will understand this: Ace went winners dog, best of winner, best opposite and best of breed owner handler all from the 9-12 puppy class. He got a 3 pt. major. He did nothing in the owner handler group, but I was thrilled by Ace's reception ringside yesterday!

Birthday party for my brother last night. Small Caesar Salad, NY steak and a little pasta. No bread. Did have desert at my brother's place afterwards, but I'm guessing my calories for the day were within range. I really ate very little prior to dinner - a protein shake and three small/moderate sized chicken tenders. That was it until dinner at 7:30. Did not track yesterday.

Off to the show in a few minutes, but wanted to pop by and check in.
