Devon, btw, I meant to say earlier -- what an awesome gift of that van your friends made to you. So generous. That's some good karma. :)

Today was my 4 week check up with the doc. I've lost 5.3lbs. in exactly 4 weeks. It does seem slow going, but glad consistency has paid off! It was nearly all fat--5.1lbs. and he noted that the "0.2lbs. muscle loss" could just be in the error range. body fat percentage down 2%
Dinner last night was skirt steak fajitas in a carb watch tortilla with a little taco rice on the side.
I'll eat at your house any time !!

Seriously, we should plan a mid-summer VSG Magnificent Maintainer Family first annual gathering (then it becomes a reunion ). I'd be happy to help organize. Who would be interested ? We could vary where hold this event. I'm good for anywhere. Where and when would most of us be willing to go ? Sound like something worth exploring ?

Greetings Water Filled People
I say that because I am 134 today and am hoping its water from last night's salty Mexican food. It was refried beans, a bit of cheese, and two tostada shells. Not that calorie heavy. Oh well.
Liz, glad you made it to Florida. Hope the floors go in quickly.
Ann enjoy your cruise. We haven't done one in a long time. Might be time.
Dave, storms in the Airstream must be quite a trip. I think you mentioned you had a storm cellar and hope thats true. While we get plenty of rain and wind storms here, there is not often thunder or lightning.
Shel, interesting that you noticed and had sympathy for the girl playing the cello. I feel sad when I see chubby kids as I know whats in store for them. I've watched our chubby neighbor girl grow up into a morbidly obese young woman. Good for Michele Obama for addressing this issue. Hope she still works on it. Our current First Lady will probably start a charity for people who can't do their eyeliner right (meow).
Hey Joey, good for your son for making dinner! A good start indeed.
Carbon, those leg cramps sound vicious. Are you getting enough potassium?
Well Devon, wish I could send some calories to the Piglet. But I am sure she will get the hang of it and gobble food.
Art gallery today so boredom and walking in circles. The sun is out so maybe I will get customers. Gotta take some photos for upcoming show and continue battle against household debris.
Wishing you all a good night's sleep. Diane S
Hubby laughed hard at your FLOTUS comment. ;)
